All seven miles of Negril are public. The hotels fencing does not block the beach. Those chairs you have to rent. It's almost 7 miles long. That's why it's referred to as 7 mile beach.
There are no private beaches in Jamaica as some disgruntled people have been saying. Anyone can go to any beach that they can access, but can’t enter private properties or establishments from the beach unless they are staying in those places.
