I can't be the only one here who thought the mario kart tour version of the final lap jingle is a shortened version of the one that was used in 8 and was later used in home circuit
It's not a bad fanfare, I like how it's remixed, but I really would've preferred a longer remix or even it's own original thing. But I do really like the ending part to it.

@LUNARSOLSTORM I mean the first two arcade games were just gamecube games on special hardware so it makes sense they reused assets and music

In Mario Kart 7, Lakitu will hold a sign saying "3/3" instead of a sign saying "final lap"
And the “final lap” sign was also translated depending on the language, only the Japanese MK games and the Korean version of MKDS still has the sign in English.

I mean, it's kinda hard to find them, but I agree.
Yeah, I don't really like how people kind of treat these games like they don't exist, but these can be really fun, especially gp dx and vr. I like all of the gps actually.

@@tresweets8827 yep, Bandai Namco indeed has made Mario Kart Arcade GP VR, but i think it's exclusive to some VR zones, i'm not sure where to find it.

The first Mario Kart I've ever played was Mario Kart Wii, the second I played was Mario Kart 8 and I'm playing for now Mario Kart 8 deluxe
My first was Mario Kart 7, loved it, played Mario Kart 8, got bored of that, and played literally every single mario kart game from then. Although I didn't spend much time playing Mario Kart Wii (I really had an urge to play Wii Sports Resort on the one day I had the chance to play it) I loved the time I spent with that game. And also, Mario Kart Super Circuit was going to be called Mario Kart Advance, but the gameplay was super similar to the SNES, so they decided to treat it as if Mario Kart 64 came out after. I mean, there were a bunch of SNES rereleases for the system due to it's hardware being EXTREMELY similar to the SNES's hardware, so I guess it made sense.

Did somebody noticed that on mario kart tour, THERE JS NO LAKITU? when you fall you respawn, you can't go backwards, and, when final lap just have a sign, WHERE LAKITU JUST GO???

mario kart tour is the default one burnt into my brain because its the first mario kart i played, second being double dash using dolphin emulator
That was my only experience with Double Dash, and on a low specs PC soooo... I didn't have the best double dash experience. I enjoyed it plenty though!
