Damn! I think the rotos sound a touch zingier, but great choices either way!

Yeah, I just wish the Rotos had tapered ends like the Dingwall set. We talked with Rotosound. They have no plans for tapered strings at this time.

Thanks for this, for me it’s not that I don’t like the stick strings. But they seem to be having availability issues lately

Due to the Covid lockdowns earlier this year, the admittedly had delivery and shipping issues, which hopefully should be resolved soon. In the meantime, please check out several other string manufacturers at www.fretnation.com. My friend, Jason Mendelssohn, is an amazing resource for everything bass, great prices, quick shipping and very upfront and honest. He had strings when everyone else was out and offers viable alternatives, especially if you need thicker gauge lower strings. Rock on!

Any review where the string's natural sound is recorded? No Pedals, Passive Bass and minimal EQ settings?

I'll be doing another follow-up with clean tone, just as soon as I get another set from Rotosound. The Dingwall currently has Dingwall stainless steel strings on it.

    Actually prefer the rotosounds
