i actually really like the part where jet and katara talk about her mother. i lost my mother at a young age to. and those things she remembers about her may seem mundane to you, but personally they become all the more significant when shes yknow fucking dead.
Sorry for your loss. Perhaps that was insensitive of me. Maybe the live action one is more realistic when it comes to displaying trauma.

Let's assume for a minute that the royal family is very private and if at all people see them from afar on some balcony or behind a veil in some palanquin. And let's assume they somehow really _want_ to deal with peasants on their day off. Why oh why Azula didn't you apprehend them during the meeting? You knew where they would meet. You obviously somehow found out because you _went_ . Take some guards with you and take them into custody or burn them yourself for all I care. They're right there! Honestly the fire nation casting was so spot on. Honestly they should have just focused on telling the story of the fire nation with the main gaang mostly in the background, to give us a perspective into their "legend of Aang" perception. The truth is, the story of the gaang was already told in the best way possible, and nothing was going to come close to replicating it. I However would have 100% been happy to tune into a new story that was going on around the Gaang (kind of like with Rogue One in star wars).
Please we need the other episodes 😂

Good video. I disagree with the take that it makes no sense that the peasants didn’t recognize Azula. In the beach episode of the cartoon nobody recognized Azula or Zuko either despite the fact that those teenagers were from the noble class in the fire nation. Before modern times where we have mass produced photos and the internet, most members of a royal family would not be recognized if you just plopped them among some people while wearing regular clothes.
Nah in the beach scene the people there just dont care.
But in this one they really want to attck the fire lord. So if it was you ? Do you attck people without any info about whos their children,body guard,or anything ?
And this is in the fire capital where azula and ozai living.The beach is like in the rural village near the ocean.🤷🏻♂️
@@titikhalu.3278 The beach wasn’t a rural village it was a vacation island for wealthy nobles. The house that they go to for the party is owned by a fire nation admiral. The douchey guy that Azula flirts with is that admirals son. If fire nation nobles didn’t recognize the fire lords children, I think it makes sense peasants wouldn’t know exactly what they look like.

I personally don't count myself in the "Iroh is perfection in the life action adaptation" camp. I just...don't.
I was surprised about Azula. Because I don't follow the media too closely.
As for the recognizing part, the beach people didn't recognize her. When you don't expect to see somebody famous, you generally don't see somebody famous (psychology).
But I agree. What the heck was that plan?
And you'd think the people targeting a major political head like the leader of a nation would at least have some working knowledge of who they're going to unalive. Not knowing what the princess and daughter of your target at least looks like is ridiculous. Especially since they seemed to live right near the palace. But we, as the audience, have so little investment in these people anyway that it doesn't really matter.
