They just announced today that the characters will be wearing their homemade costumes in Disneyland. So mickey in the pumpkin and Minnie as the purple cat. They heard your idea 🤣
Randy Pausch was an imagineer and created Alice software system, he is most notably known for "the last lecture" shortly before he died of cancer. Wildly interesting man, would highly recommend checking out the lecture or book
Ditto, I remember saving the ABC original story on my dvr back in the day and got the audio book; don’t let brick walls stand in your way, even if they are made of flesh 😉 take care!
I saw "The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch, and was so touched that at m next visit to WDW, I sought out that tribute you showed, and spent some quiet time near it, paying him honor, and I remembered to stop for a moment every visit thereafter. Very touching, and quite a legacy. That burger looked pretty decent. Socially distanced hugs to the 3 (soon to be 4!!!!!) :) of you from New Jersey. Stay strong, stay positive, stay healthy!
Randy Pausch wrote a book called The Last Lecture before he passed of pancreatic cancer in 2008. I highly recommend reading his book, watching his Ted talk and reading his wife’s book that she wrote after he passed.
Hi Tim! I love how enthusiastic you are about everything. You, Jen, and Jackson are always so much fun to watch. Thank you for showcasing the magic in everyday things.
Winnie the Pooh in general was very popular in the 1970s. There was a tie-in in merchandising at Sears. Throughout the decade you could purchase Winnie the Pooh branded clothing. It started to wain in the 80s.
We missed you by one day TIm. On the day you filmed this one we where at Hollywood Stuidios. But we confirm that we saw the Tron coaster running test runs too. Maybe next time.
I'm very curious about the canopy structure on Tron. Is it just an aesthetic choice? Or is there some benefit to doing an inflated canopy instead of a hard structure?
Disney just posted a picture on Facebook of Mickey in a pumpkin costume and Minnie in the cat costume like the plushies you were looking at! Too bad they don't have the same costumes at MK so it would make sense there too, but they do exist! I got excited and had to share!
Randy Pausch was a Carnegie Mellon professor who lived an incredible life. He passed away from cancer. He gave a lecture titled "Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams" at CMU in 2007. This would be his last lecture. The book, "The Last Lecture", co-written by Randy was based on the lecture given at CMU. One of his dreams was to become a Disney imagineer. While on sabbatical from CMU he did become an imagineer for a year or two. He also helped develop Alice software project which helps create computer animations. I highly recommend looking up the lecture on RUclips and/or reading his book "The Last Lecture".
Love this time of year when you guys Do Halloween Vlogs! I can't wait to see what you guys do for Costumes this year. Hopefully Jackson is big enough maybe to Experience some of Mickey's Not So-Scary Halloween Party.
Disney parks Instagram posted Mickey and Minnie wearing those outfits of the plush Tim said he wish they wore! It's in Disneyland though! Guess we will have to wait to see them when you guys take your trip out there!
I slowed it down to 0.25x speed to see if water dummies were on Tron and, my goodness, Tim! Your voice was terrifying! Haha I’m sure mine would be at that speed too
For the tron coaster. They even have had rides with real people on it. And with the light at night etc. I feel like the only thing they have to do is train castmembers (which i heard is already happening for at least 4 weeks) and the outside
The trademark for Whinnie the Pooh is public domain, probably one the reasons why he is not as prominent in the parks. Also one of the reasons why there is a Whinnie the Pooh horror movie coming out....
Randy Pausch is awesome! He wrote an awesome book called the last lecture. He also did a live talk with the Same name. You can find it on RUclips. One of his dreams was to work for Disney. He did it in an usual way. He passed away maybe 10-12yrs ago from pancreatic cancer.
Lol they had those bear claws July 22 but no sign, I ordered a cat tail and got a bear claw, I was like okay then and I also saw tron running that day so it’s been running for a little now
Can you tell us more about the mobile pay in the Emporium? I saw the signs while you were perusing the store and it's super interesting that they offer that in retail locations.
Winnie the Pooh has lost copyrights claims and has now become public domain Tim! If you've seen the new horror movie about Winnie the Pooh, it kind of explains a lot.
Speaking of Winnie the Pooh, there’s a horror movie coming out all about Winnie the Pooh and how he’s demonic now 😬 it definitely doesn’t look like a Disney production !
We have been coming every year since 2017 and every time we never see you in the parks and literally you are at the same park as us. Can you say Hello to Linda and Emily in a live video lol
Would have been cool if Jen spun around in her chair and said, "So, Pausch was a Carnegie Mellon professor, Disney Imagineer, and family man known for his “last lecture” given at CMU when faced with the knowledge he had just a few months to live.". Then just spun back around and we went back to you Tim. lol would have been a great opportunity for more information and a little Jen.
Hey Tim, Randy Pausch was one of the most inspirational humans ever. He was a professor at CM University and worked with Disney on a number of projects. His most famous work explains this watch the you tube video or read the book of his Last Lecture. Make sure you have some Kleenex handy but it will blow your mind. Enjoy! Love your videos!
THE CASTLE IS SCARY LOOKING!
I've said it before but I love when Tim just wanders around looking at random things. So many people don't take the time to do so and miss so much.
They just announced today that the characters will be wearing their homemade costumes in Disneyland. So mickey in the pumpkin and Minnie as the purple cat. They heard your idea 🤣
They actually announced that several weeks ago. I live near Disneyland.
Randy Pausch was an imagineer and created Alice software system, he is most notably known for "the last lecture" shortly before he died of cancer. Wildly interesting man, would highly recommend checking out the lecture or book

I actually just re-watched the last lecture about a week and a half ago! So good and still resonates so strongly!
Ditto, I remember saving the ABC original story on my dvr back in the day and got the audio book; don’t let brick walls stand in your way, even if they are made of flesh 😉 take care!
The book is so inspiring. I’ve given copies to my family also. Highly recommend!
He was an amazing and inspirational man. TT, watch the Last Lecture and you will understand why that quote is there.
HMMMMMMMM THAT WAS DELICIOUS!

I agree with your criticism of the clothing sizes for kids...we had to find a new outfit for my little girl (1yo) and had the hardest time.
Wow no way would I buy a Vera wang ears ! Great vlog x
We missed you by one day TIm. On the day you filmed this one we where at Hollywood Stuidios. But we confirm that we saw the Tron coaster running test runs too. Maybe next time.

In Disneyland Anaheim Mickey and Minnie have those costumes. She’s a cat and he’s in Pumpkin ❤️

Mickey and Minnie Mouse are supposed to be dressed as the plush versions (cat, jack o lantern) at Oogie Boogie Bash here in California.
“It’s just a sugar cookie with candy sprinkles and Halloween themed eyes” 😂
I'm very curious about the canopy structure on Tron. Is it just an aesthetic choice? Or is there some benefit to doing an inflated canopy instead of a hard structure?
I think the lights inside make it look like the movie at night ? Or something?
I'm curious to see how it'll hold up with the Florida weather
I remember that Epcot visor. That would be nice to see again
Disney just posted a picture on Facebook of Mickey in a pumpkin costume and Minnie in the cat costume like the plushies you were looking at! Too bad they don't have the same costumes at MK so it would make sense there too, but they do exist! I got excited and had to share!
“Hmm, yeah, delicious!” 😂

I think Mickey wears the pumpkin outfit in Disneyland
I think I need that burger
I’m more of a Peanuts Gang kind of guy, but being born in Pomona CA, I love Disney as well 😎👍❤️
For the tron coaster. They even have had rides with real people on it. And with the light at night etc. I feel like the only thing they have to do is train castmembers (which i heard is already happening for at least 4 weeks) and the outside
Are those Jenn's cheetah sunglasses? Or is animal print your thing? :D
They had nightmare before Christmas merch in the gift shop at tower of terror Hollywood studios

I had one of those visors... 😁
The trademark for Whinnie the Pooh is public domain, probably one the reasons why he is not as prominent in the parks. Also one of the reasons why there is a Whinnie the Pooh horror movie coming out....
So nice to finally meet Tim this day!! I’ve been watching for years, and my husband spotted him just before we were leaving the park! Perfect timing.
It was 96 today here! 15 degrees above average!

Those singers are so much fun to watch, thanks for stopping to capture that tim
I have no idea what Randy Pausch has to do with Disney but he was a college professor who died of terminal cancer. I have his book, its fantastic.

I love Tim’s quest for a great Disney cookie 🍪. Nice video😎
We have been coming every year since 2017 and every time we never see you in the parks and literally you are at the same park as us. Can you say Hello to Linda and Emily in a live video lol
The other designer Minnie ears are from Betsy Johnson

lol would have been a great opportunity for more information and a little Jen.
I totally agree with u. It’s so hard to find toddler sizes at Disney
Tim there has been water dummies and live people filmed on tron testing.
Do you still have to schedule your day at the parks in advance?
Hey Tim,
Randy Pausch was one of the most inspirational humans ever. He was a professor at CM University and worked with Disney on a number of projects. His most famous work explains this watch the you tube video or read the book of his Last Lecture. Make sure you have some Kleenex handy but it will blow your mind. Enjoy! Love your videos!
ding dang!
I like jalapenos but there is a wide range of heat in those things. Hope you and yours are doing great.
Hi Tim tracker are you going to magic Kingdom on the 25th of September
What events are on in march april may time?
I hope they have Cheshire tails when I go 🙀🙀
I would definitely agree that Marvel is more popular than Star Wars ! 😎 Having said that though, I’m more of a Star Wars Fan 👍
FYI - The characters do dress up in the same costumes as those plushes you were playing with.
Jen - can you edit a video of Tim just saying Vera Wang over and over? Thanks.
Will you be continuing your series on the DW hotels?
It’s 91 in Florida and 110 in SoCal
