Operation Viper may have been less graphically impressive, but I think we can all agree it had better gameplay, at least compared to what Resurgence is now.
@@alwexander996 Generally speaking, it's full of bugs. Moresoever, many previous features have been removed for schedule delays. The vehicle prices are certainly something people are not happy with, either.
(Skit please read this it'll be worth it) I've been in BRM5 since Operation Shadow Raid (~3-4 years ago), when guns were automatically given to you upon reaching enough exp, gaining a star reset your stats, and when the old docks and factory existed. I did quit after Daybreak, which was actually the first time they changed everything and took away all your stuff, but I did come back during late Operation Nightfall and I've been playing ever since. In all my time on BRM5, I've never seen an update so divisive and hated as Resurgence, and though I do still play PvE and enjoy the game, I understand and even share some of the biggest criticisms of the operation (vehicle costs, repair costs, anime eyes). In fact, the only good aspects of the update I can think of were the new graphics, gunsmith, and optimization. In fact, if it weren't for my already-existing like for the game prior to Resurgence and the amount of progress I made, I would've quit the game outright after seeing the disastrous Day 1 of Resurgence (thank god they removed the return fee) Now that it's been almost two whole months since this operation dropped, I think that there are two major things that should be understood in regards of where the game is heading. The first is in regards of how Platinum Five (the development team) is behaving. While I do praise developers like MB_Sniper and Panda for making the game look better, no amount of upsides will counterbalance the way P5 has been interacting with the community. As of now and probably for some time, the only way people have been in direct contact with the higher-ups is through stalking GameLoaded Entertainment's twitter page and praying that Gnar or Panda will show up by chance to answer a few burning questions. On top of this, the "community manager" of the P5 Discord server (Nirnll) doesn't really do anything other than moderate, elect moderators, and release a single community poll over a month ago. In fact, the community manager hasn't done much - if at all - to strengthen the communication line between the dev team and players. The second thing I'd like to mention is more on a positive note, but should be taken with a grain of salt due to P5's reputation of being poor promise-keepers. In the latest dev blog, other than making some interesting but maybe-empty promises of what's to come, Gnar (leader of P5 and the sole programmer) has explicitly stated that one of the main intents behind Resurgence was to act as a building block for some new stuff. Speaking of which, they have stated that the old system of stealing vehicles for cash is being replaced by a "much more dynamic and enjoyable system," which may or may not be a reputation-based quest system (I say reputation-based due to civilians giving reputation when freed). Therefore, I think the main reason the devs changed so much yet removed a lot of features was to make room for new stuff, and also to push out the update sooner after a whole goddamn year. BRM5's unique premise is both its greatest strength and a cause for some of its greatest problems. A primarily milsim-based open world experience encouraging co-operation with other players is something I've never seen on any other Roblox games, but BRM5's monopolistic position in this genre gives the devs almost unlimited freedom to do what they want without any competition. I think the reason BRM5 - with all of its flaws - still holds up in player count is the unique experience you can have with other players in different PvE servers, the faction community, and just how stunning the game looks upon first playing it. Despite my still-existing like for this game, I'm glad to see another RUclipsr giving genuine criticism of the game and pointing out some flaws, since I feel like P5 needs a good slap in the face to understand their playerbase. I really want this game to succeed and live up to its full potential. By the way, I would be eager to play BRM5 with you and some other dudes, as public Open World is starting to get repetitive for me. - Anti_Avatar
Hello veteran. And yes when operation daybreak come my gun disappeared and I was mad at the first time but then I grinded for 7 days straight and I got my sniper again yay. After I forgot what operation probably nightfall my laptop couldn't run it again so...I say goodbye to this game. ziny1_2
(Some) issues have been resolved, such as the A-10's few bugs. The sound of the gun firing had been looping even when a player never fired. That has been fixed. The rounds of the Avenger cannon not registering has been fixed. Also, a tip when flying the A-10 is to go around 350-400 in air speed to outrun SAM's. One _new_ issue for A-10 pilots and players alike is the new dust, mist, or fog that blocks the player's view, and blinds them when NVG's are applied. This makes it incredibly risky to fly near the desert or winter zones as you can not see the enemy, nor the ground. 14:37 Beautiful landing may I add.
At the same time, the A-10 can explode when you run over a light at a speed of 25 as well as it costing close to as much as the Littlebird to repair. A-10 still isn’t worth it imo, but it can still be fun.
Things I don't like in this operation currently -Refunds weren't even close to how much you spent on items -Vehicle repairs -No Parachutes (my favorite part of the game) -No Revives -Enemies laser you from a mile away(at least make it so that they can miss sometimes ffs)
With the current updates, fixes, changes to ai combat, readding missing features and making them even better, better customization, and the quest update complete with a densely populated city, I would give operation resurgence an 8.5/10
Excellent breakdown, and props to you for touching on a wide variety of aspects across all modes. It's also nice to get a review from someone who's played the older BRM games since it puts into perspective how far the genre has come. Your style reminds me of some of XiaoXiaoMan's older work and I very much enjoyed getting to hear your point of view. I should probably make clear that the following opinions are my own, but I'll definitely be treading the same ground as many others in the comments. I agree that helicopter speed is pretty anemic. I personally wasn't too hot about helicopter speed back in Viper when you could get across the map in about a minute, but the reduction in Resurgence is excessive to say the least. Yaw control would be nice too. Honestly, with all the detail and beauty packed into Ronograd I don't really understand why BRM5 can't showcase that by giving us stuff to do outside of the raidable locations. Your remarks about the map have a lot to do with my main gripe with the game which is its replayability. To be frank, BRM5's PvE gameplay loop is really dull. It's been this game's Achilles' heel from the get-go even through numerous changes in AI behavior and map design. New/improved locations are nice until you remember that it's the same shooting gallery in which you get to pick where and when to fight. Like come on, ambush me for once. While I can understand a long grind, there's little done to make the grind fun. It also doesn't help that some items are priced disproportionately higher than others, which then invites frustration when said items don't perform disproportionately better (to be clear, I believe we should be balancing things instead of tying in-game performance to price). I kind of chuckle at how BRM5 has struggled to make night combat unique apart from some atmospheric changes. The updated night vision model as of the most recent update needs polish but is a step in the right direction. I'm a bit biased when it comes to the IP-infringement-free stuff in the menu, but I have asked myself now and then if an entire sub-universe of defense companies is a bit overboard. There are quite a few interesting references made with logos/literature if you're inclined to read into them. Yea, these queuing issues are actually why I don't play with buddies that often. It's also quite annoying having to reinvite the boys every time we return to the lobby. I'm really split about this new ultra-CQB vision for the maps especially given the stark contrast from open world's extended engagement distances. The cabin map was arguably one-sided, but it was also one of my favorite maps because of its open nature. The guns have a damage drop-off model but we literally never get to see it in play outside of PvE. There's an argument to be made for seasonal items being unique and exclusive. There are loads of purchasable options even in the casual realm, but I wouldn't be opposed to making the seasonal exclusives attainable through other limited-time events. Just going to address the lost guns head-on, but it was an unfortunate byproduct of migrating old player data (not excusing it in the slightest). Players were compensated for items that didn't make it, but it's not an enjoyable user experience having to repurchase things you already paid for. 100%, I will never get used to these eyes. I wouldn't be opposed to the A-10's price tag if destroying it was 100% my fault. It should be a high-risk investment but right now it's so inconsistent that I've given up on even trying to practice with the damn thing because the runway is hell-bent on blowing up my airframe during takeoff.
@@SkitGaming parachute exists just they removed the pop up and placed it below the gun ui where u can see hints for crouch or crawl i just found this out yesterday. btw you need to jump from something extremelly tall to trigger the parachute pop up. and the problem is this pop up is small unlike the old one where it spawns in the middle of ur screen shouting at you to PRESS G or death. altho the old parachute was somewhat buggy like sometimes i get flung around and die the problem is no longer a thing in resurgence. and glitching out of vehicles no longer exist you can comfortably stand up in helis just hope that the driver doesnt turn the engine off. The animations for entering vehicles is nice as no unwanted guest can enter and the ammo in mounted guns are limited
I've played BRM5 since the start, basically 3 years ago, I've seen all of it change. If I didn't lose my account, would probably have like max stars possible, obviously if I continued to play that game, which I do and I liked all of the changes. My friend and I've been planning on doing a cinematic "movie" on Saturday, because both of us wanted to do the cinematic. But yeah, I've seen all of the game change, I've seen the docks and factory. And when zombies existed, some time later, zombies removed, city changed, helicopter flying system changed, and yeah. I hope you really enjoyed playing that game.
So, they updated the game on February 24. It fixed the NVG, darkened the night way too much, added iron sights back, and the Quary got updated. they also fixed the A-10 not doing damage. When the *update* came, they gave cash back for most of the stuff so you could buy the things you were missing.
On night and NVGs, they significantly reduced brightness at night and in dark areas so NVGs actually have a use now. On the item/vehicle retrieval quests, I initially believed the devs intended to release an improved version after verifying everything else new in the update was a bit more polished. However there are some who have told me P5 intended to actually replace it with something better.
If we had the same style then it would it be boring if you kept seeing the same style? we need updates to make the game better even if it means removing features. and if you check to discord or the blogs they are actually making the game better
Vet here. BHRM5 was a good game and i hope its still good, but when they deleted my whole progress i was mad. Days of grinding, chatting and exploring disappeared in thanos snap. My first reaction was: WHERE IS MY AWM!? WHERE IS IT!?? After update I havent played some time and when I came back I felt like I never played this game (i ever checked if it was good experience lol) cuz of "Main menu" or "lobby" (i got used to just spawning in hangar) But I tried to join PvE and guess what. My roblox crashed. Tried to lower my graphics quality. Game running pitch black and 3fps. It went from childhood CoD MW2 to trying launch a CoD2019 on 2009 computer. Im bit angry that I can't play but its only game. I'm playing Task Force (SCP) now cuz its best milsim with dumb and fun gameplay that I can launch. And anime faces are bad and I'm not gonna change my opinion about that. Things changed. For me it was last update, but hope others are having fun. Also Im want to build a new computer in like 2 years so maybe I'll come back. Anyways I really recommend playing this game with friends or randoms, had a lot of fun. Sorry for long comment I truly didnt mean to write so long so take a cookie 🍪
@@noheffthing this is why the most important change (in their eyes), that they lied about removing, was ANIME EYES. Did we need them? hell no. That time and effort could have gone into other things, like more detail in the vehicles.

Old a-10: My bullets are so powerful that you could kill everything in the desert compound (including civilians) with 1 strafe. New a-10: I fire nerf darts
I love how everybody is all crazed about the terrible aspects of resurgence but me, a veteran (2-3 years), is pissed off that stocks are tucked in on the m4 platforms
Before Operation Resurgence, You could steal Trucks from the Enemy AI and bring it back to base for a lot of money. Before the "UPDATE" the A-10 was temporarily removed from the the game for a while (About a year ago) AND CAME BACK NEEDING YOU TO SELL A KIDNEY TO USE IT
Even when you do the gun runs it’s definitely NOT profitable… you’re more likely to go broke from the amount of civilians you end up killing by mistake rather than killing insurgents
I actually used to play the game before the "update" it was great, and i gladly played, and prayed that the next update would bring back the warthog. when it finally happened, i joined in, spent my money on a new gun, and i was just as disappointed as you when i saw the price tag. ( I basically jumped out of my seat from excitement when i saw the update )
They released the quest update a couple days ago along with adding all missing features in the last few ones. The game's pretty fun now compared to when it first released. Hope you give it a second chance.
This is my first time seeing the revamped A-10 and dang is it disappointing. The actual mechanics of flying and shooting the A-10 look way better, but the fact that you have to rebuy it every time you crash it and the fact it’s almost unusable is disgusting. I loved trying to line up gun runs on the mountain base and desert and seeing all of those messages of the enemy’s you killed and it looks like they just absolutely gutted it.
The GAU-8 on the A-10 is bugged, this has happened before and it'll probably be fixed eventually. I used it when it wasn't bugged and I'd say it was actually quite alright, gun was loud and looked sick, it did lots of damage and always took out the Civilians too, win-win.
@@MarcoAdventures Seriously, just ask around the discord server. The A-10 wasn't even meant to be in the game. It doesn't even fit in the style of the game yet added due to community pressure.
@@MarcoAdventures Hello there, it's AEIKILLS. Gnar originally added the A-10 as a "trophy" for those who got Platinum Rank before Op Shadow Raid as an endgame vehicle. Since then, the community wanted more A-10 content and- as SirTheOriginal said, it was only added due to community pressure. Allow me to quote multiple things from AdministratorGnar in the P5 Discord server: "The A10 does not fit in BRM, we are only adding it back so people stop complaining. That's why we're making it a pain in the ### to own." " "since im so done with a10" bro chill out, im still adding it, i just I dont want to" "tbh i don't even want to re-add a10s because of balancing issues" So, with this, I can confirm that it is not cap.
Short review: Fun game until you explore all the cool parts, then it just becomes a shooting simulator. PvE never changes and PvP gets just as boring just as fast
This game just seems like a bunch of milsim games from console and PC, and throws it all together, it's honestly a war zone, Arma, insurgency sandstorm, ground branch, cod mix
I remember waiting for the A-10. I got 5 stars right before winter and then found out it was removed. I waited for the day they said it would be back, but it wasn’t. Legit stopped playing for a while and then came back to find out I have to spend 50,000 to fly it again. Thank you Devs
Yo, maybe you should revisit this game at some point. There have been so many updates. Like they added NPCs that can give you missions, they added some mini bases, a new raid site, new vehicles and rappelling. I think it would be worth checking it out again.
Man, the game sure has come a loooong way in the last two years. It is still kinda buggy, seems somewhat unfinished but I hope that the next Update (Operation Phoenix) fixes a lot and performs as promised
Wanted to correct some of the mistakes of the video that I noticed as a veteran or just wanted to add: - BRM2 was in-fact published before BRM3, but BRM3 used a place that had just already been created. (Creation date doesn't mean that's when it was actually released) - Early BRM2 was completely different from the one we know today and looked more like BRM1. BRM2 changed into the one we know today around 2014), I do recall a wiki saying about how the lore of the old BRM2 was something along the lines of the zombie outbreak getting to the US mainland. - There was also a BRM1 Remastered which you can still play but FE destroyed it almost completely I think, which also happened to BRM3. - BRM4 was indeed a game but was never finished and you can find it on the BRM Fan Group that PlatinumFive is in. - There was also a game called Aftermath, it is unknown if it had anything to do with BRM but it was made by PlatinumFive. - According to AdministratorGnar, BRM5's island history will eventually be connected to as he specifically stated "BRM2 and 3", although I don't know how BRM3 fits into it, BRM2 definitely would have some relation as the fictional Ronograd Island that apparently takes the place of the real Adak Island is very close to the events of BRM2 which was on the Komandorski Islands.
Ik somebody has probably pointed this out by now, but there are parachutes, there's just no GUI for it. You just have to press G, at least I think that's the key...
First day of Operation Resurgence was a shit hole. Thought it was gonna be awesome, A-10 is finally back and vehicle customization was introduced! And then when you enter the lobby, you are greeted with MOST of your weapons taken away and your character returned to default. Sure they gave you a refund but it's nowhere close to cover the costs. Entering openworld, your vehicles are gone and you have to purchase all of em, ignoring the fact that you just spent hours trying to get them in the previous operation. Not to mention that they're overpriced when it first dropped. (Thank god they reduced them, better than just leaving them i guess) Resurgence is pretty much just a middle finger to players who have been there for a long time, while there are good things about it, it's outweighed by the flaws this update has.
I agree when it first came out it was bad but over time it got better, im fine with vehicles costing money so that everything can be some what unique. Lets say gnar lets us keep all our progress and stuff, you and others Would still complain because the performance of the the weapons has changed. There are barley any bugs right now and different missions got revamped which is good.
I just don't understand complaining about vehicles. (Except A-10 and helis) Like, jeep costs 100$, and it's actually good now, why would you buy humvee or striker?
@@alwexander996 They cost a lot and you need freakin repair them and as i noticed repair is kinda expensive . -. Why we paying for freakin venicle in first place, ranks system already been pain in a** until you find good spot for exp grind and get 5 stars

Looking back on this now, I can say many things have changed (Also I’m aware he made an updated vid, I’m just saying from my perspective). The NPCs have gotten a lot less tough, in fact they are really easy, especially the standard enemies. When the update first dropped, I remember being 360 no scoped from the other side of the map by some NPC with an AK, but now they need to take 3 bursts to hit me, speaking of bursts, they do that now, it used to be full auto when the update dropped, honestly I with it were still here. I remember briefly quitting the game cause I found it too hard, looking back now however, with the skill I currently have, the AI upon Resurgence’s release would have been a very enjoyable challenge. Many have complained the game is no longer beginner friendly but I think that’s due to the immense grind they need to take and not the difficulty of grinding. Things have changed, some better some worse, but I look forward to the future, only complaint though? Make the game HARDER.
Couldn't agree more, long range engagements have become boring and easy. Made me wish we had the Ai from viper/nightfall sometimes due to how easy they've become. Sure they were clunky but at least they provided a challenge.
i think because brm5 was made with permission it is less a fan project than a legitimate sequel. think of it as simply a different studio working on the same IP
There were a lot of feautures removed because they were being reworked. I don't think PL5 would just remove entire features from the game for no reason but I've seen them say that the features were being reworked, and the full update isn't even out yet so cut them some slack. Also my friend Echophil was in one of the clips. :OOOOOO
If you were in the discord day 1 of this update you would've seen the chaos, so many people were muted or kicked, sometimes even banned for social credit memes.
As a brm5 pilot I really hate that they removed the yaw function on all aircraft. It makes them useless because of their two axis controls during combat.
for real. Having 3 axes of rotation made flying them, not only easier in my opinion, but made it more effective when pseudo-dodging the SAMs (by pseudo-dodging, I mean that the SAMs hit you no matter what you did, but they did less damage if you tried to dodge them)
Imagine his disappointment when he could’ve gotten into a free private server and just command it in for free because there’s free commands in free private servers
So fun thing phantomfive was planning on creating more games. However most a while ago Roblox put his games under review which it failed. Recently he’s started to try and fix his games after plug-ins and programs he used were not allowed anymore or outdated. While the new Blackhawk rescue mission is going into more rp story while also trying to appeal to what fans actually want which is taking a while.
They added an update, and I think they kinda fixed the A-10. Saw a video where it has explosions now when it shoots! And I think if u don’t have the A10 the main way is rescuing hostages. They give 150 each +50 if you transport them and you can only have 2. They also added quests and reputation???
Just a note, since this video, the grind still exists but is significantly easier with headshots and bullets doing more damage now. NVG's are also a lot better but now it's the lights that are a pure annoyance, however you can take them out. Still really annoying when in the heat of battle though. The A-10 got really buffed up too. PVP got better as well minus the maps. Quests "missions" now re-exist.
There was times where Id have like 10 friends in the same server on roblox back when I played epic mini games but in BRM5 I’ve had the most fun with others ever
Hey skit, theres this really cool game called "Guts & Blackpowder" and its basically blood and iron with zombies. I think you'll like it given how much you like blood and iron.

I came into the game with a clean slate, first time I played i recall dying a lot in the beta as a noob and the game just wouldn't run for me. Then I came back and now it does. But man did the veterans of the game get shafted
well, they did plan to include a lot of stuff so i think this might have been too early and when they release stuff (which shouls have been in the update but they released it early bc of pressure) this game will most likely be way better than before
Here's good news Abt BRM2: The game still alive now, most people went silo and loose Ends event (this is because the game also crossover with four games, COD MW2, Battlefield 3 and 4, and ofc, Girls Frontline) Silo event is basically lab ops but quick just like first Christmas event. Your mission is basically well, finding code to open all gates. Be careful with shamkers when you or your friend hacking armory. If you or your friend has reaper weapons back then, then it shouldn't be a problem. After that go to sewer once a guy thermite the hole. Go to the right where there's a long truss ladder as gold chest has little chance to get last remnant reaper. If you reach the The end, there's a purple chest that gives higher chance to get Reaper's weapon or vest 2K22. Just be careful though I got many pain ass 60k money instead of MCX, I already got M1014 Reaper and MP17 Reaper. Here's the joke for Weapons name: MCX Valkyrie = Allowable M27 Slayer, also best raifu (sorry 416) M1014 Reaper = disinigrate anything it touches MP17 Reaper = Pocket semi automatic shotgun because why not Now to Loose Ends Welcome to the PTSD, featuring Shadow Company soldier and Russian VDV. This event has two, night and day ops. Night ops is the easiest one to find, you only need go to gulag and stop at 2nd place, there's a P30L for John Wack (it's supposed to be John Wick but PlatFive didn't want get copyrighted) and then go to John being still alive and give his pistol. The event are not that long, you only need clear all enemies with modified ACR (aka Magpul Masada but buffed) and turn off the power switch and then breach (I recommend from the back) and then you and your friend breach 2nd floor to get lvl 2 armor plate and M72 LAW aka funni crayon. Go to underground and hack (make sure to camp from the back breached door). After hacking finished, grab the DSM and run faster but be careful with bear traps and Boss juggernaut. If you kill the juggernaut, you can buy ACR in there, just go to the juggernaut corpse and buy it if you had enough money. Same goes and day ops but day ops is difficulty tweak, there's Tachanka with Doom music vibin. You can access your weapon, after that, you can run while fighting Shepherd's men Both of this event prize gives you only money, 2K22 Helmet and Krueger's costume before Halloween come again (which is good example buying AA-12H to kill big boy juggernaut) Tip for Silo: you can go through the vent where the last code should be hack instead of scavenge it even though you don't need to open the lid of the vent, otherwise insect will overwhelmed you.
I agree when the UPDATE came after 1 year and 2 MONTHS i believe all they did was make the game more cartoony gave us anime eyes and took alway GOOD FETURES and the devs said "the update is not finished but this is early we are still working on the game and the update most fetures will be revamped and coming back in latter updates" but they REALY need to take a month and just ONLY work on one aspect of the game and have monthly updates like one update may be fixing bugs and improving anythign with bad feedback or another quest or another STORY or another MAKE THE AI ADVANCED NOT JUST HIGH DAMAGE AND GOT AIMBOT!!!!!!!!!
Used to grind the game and I got 5 stars on it plus 100k exp after that I’m annoyed about the update where you pay for vehicles since now I can’t use the A-10
I'm waiting for a new update in which there will be a full rework and everything will be restored again (although I think this will never happen) and return raid mode

I've been in BRM5 since Operation Shadow Raid (~3-4 years ago), when guns were automatically given to you upon reaching enough exp, gaining a star reset your stats, and when the old docks and factory existed.
In fact, if it weren't for my already-existing like for the game prior to Resurgence and the amount of progress I made, I would've quit the game outright after seeing the disastrous Day 1 of Resurgence (thank god they removed the return fee)
Now that it's been almost two whole months since this operation dropped, I think that there are two major things that should be understood in regards of where the game is heading.

Hello veteran.
And yes when operation daybreak come my gun disappeared and I was mad at the first time but then I grinded for 7 days straight and I got my sniper again yay.
After I forgot what operation probably nightfall my laptop couldn't run it again so...I say goodbye to this game.

@@TruXavia no, no it cant. the lights arent physical objects
Fun fact A-10 is supposed to be crap ingame, as even devs hate it, but community were crying kids for it
Things I don't like in this operation currently
-Refunds weren't even close to how much you spent on items
-Vehicle repairs
-No Parachutes (my favorite part of the game)
-No Revives
-Enemies laser you from a mile away(at least make it so that they can miss sometimes ffs)
If I may:
They added a revive system, actually makes it easier with friends
Parachutes weren't removed press g when falling

The animations for entering vehicles is nice as no unwanted guest can enter and the ammo in mounted guns are limited
I tried the A-10 in cheats mode, keep to the side of the runway.
Later they *updated* the AI and now they use cover.
With the update that released a couple days ago resurgence is way better then when it first released + all missing features have been readded
At the same time, any light source INCLUDING THE MOON will blind you.

Before the "UPDATE" the A-10 was temporarily removed from the the game for a while (About a year ago) AND CAME BACK NEEDING YOU TO SELL A KIDNEY TO USE IT
I know, right? Even if you pay to get money, it’s like 20 dollars worth of money before you can afford it.
I can remember the fun I had on black hawk 1. Especially with the crazy amount of hackers maxing everything out and breaking the map.
BRM5 Developers didn't want the A-10 in the game.

Allow me to quote multiple things from AdministratorGnar in the P5 Discord server:
"The A10 does not fit in BRM, we are only adding it back so people stop complaining. That's why we're making it a pain in the ### to own."

Man, the game sure has come a loooong way in the last two years. It is still kinda buggy, seems somewhat unfinished but I hope that the next Update (Operation Phoenix) fixes a lot and performs as promised
I believe that the update that was released in early April bumps the game up to a solid 7.5
There was a new major update worth checking out (quests, guns, etc.) I would recommend doing a follow-up video.
The Cabin Map "Lookout" was apparently removed for being "bad".
Wanted to correct some of the mistakes of the video that I noticed as a veteran or just wanted to add:
- BRM2 was in-fact published before BRM3, but BRM3 used a place that had just already been created. (Creation date doesn't mean that's when it was actually released)
- Early BRM2 was completely different from the one we know today and looked more like BRM1.
I am still waiting for BRM6

I remember the good old time of operation shadow raid where the map is just dock and factory.
(Thank god they reduced them, better than just leaving them i guess)
Resurgence is pretty much just a middle finger to players who have been there for a long time, while there are good things about it, it's outweighed by the flaws this update has.
I agree when it first came out it was bad but over time it got better, im fine with vehicles costing money so that everything can be some what unique.
Lets say gnar lets us keep all our progress and stuff, you and others

Make the game HARDER.
yeah i agree the game being so easy kills it for me
Couldn't agree more, long range engagements have become boring and easy. Made me wish we had the Ai from viper/nightfall sometimes due to how easy they've become. Sure they were clunky but at least they provided a challenge.

As a brm5 pilot I really hate that they removed the yaw function on all aircraft. It makes them useless because of their two axis controls during combat.
for real. Having 3 axes of rotation made flying them, not only easier in my opinion, but made it more effective when pseudo-dodging the SAMs (by pseudo-dodging, I mean that the SAMs hit you no matter what you did, but they did less damage if you tried to dodge them)
this is something i can agree with as it helped with micro movements if you lined up a strafe badly

Here's good news Abt BRM2:
The game still alive now, most people went silo and loose Ends event (this is because the game also crossover with four games, COD MW2, Battlefield 3 and 4, and ofc, Girls Frontline)
Silo event is basically lab ops but quick just like first Christmas event.
Here's the joke for Weapons name:
MCX Valkyrie = Allowable M27 Slayer, also best raifu (sorry 416)
M1014 Reaper = disinigrate anything it touches
MP17 Reaper = Pocket semi automatic shotgun because why not
Now to Loose Ends
Welcome to the PTSD, featuring Shadow Company soldier and Russian VDV.
You can access your weapon, after that, you can run while fighting Shepherd's men
Both of this event prize gives you only money, 2K22 Helmet and Krueger's costume before Halloween come again (which is good example buying AA-12H to kill big boy juggernaut)
Tip for Silo: you can go through the vent where the last code should be hack instead of scavenge it even though you don't need to open the lid of the vent, otherwise insect will overwhelmed you.
After watching this video you made me more aware of some of the negative things the game has, thanks
I have been playing BRM5 for 4 years, and I can say this is accurate.
Hey, did you know that Gnar promised Anime eyes to be removed by the end of January?
Yeah...
I think he planned to change something with it not remove it. I quite like the new eyes
@@Redacted341 No thanks, keep your anime shit away from BRM5
@@anonymousgiraff5536 Bruh they dont even look like anime eye, its the fact they actually fit in the mask
Man I remember time when you have desert base as grind
And you can't customize too much
I like your load out “Drip or Drown
The way skit said warthog actually hurt me...
Fun fact parachutes are still in the game it’s just that the GUI does not pop up (if you press G a parachute will come up)
People's can't believe that the devs couldn't put anything back in the same update and had to wait a little bit to get they're things back
I agree with you so much, but I just deal with it by saying "It couldve a lot worse" and lying to myself more and more
I have a definite feeling that stealth is no longer a option when your going to get a base
I don’t think stealth was ever an option
@@SkitGaming Idk the enemies seem to have a detection radius but now its infinite
@@samvaldez237 stealth was never an option bro
meh I can kill people without being spotted far away unless i didnt kill them in one shot
I remember when Black Hawk Down Rescue Mission guns were some block guns
Literally all they had to do was add the A-10 back and improve animations.
They fixed Night and NVGs now today in the update so thats better now.
Used to grind the game and I got 5 stars on it plus 100k exp after that I’m annoyed about the update where you pay for vehicles since now I can’t use the A-10
Nutshell video👍👍👍
Man this is one of the reasons, why me and the boys no longer play, we used to play games like this until this monstrosity of an ""update"" came by
I'm waiting for a new update in which there will be a full rework and everything will be restored again (although I think this will never happen) and return raid mode
6:10 lol hello skit just noticed i was in your video. it was a fair match i guess lol
This is also related to Rainbow Six Siege, such as the 5v5 they use almost same maps.
I hope we get a revert on a lot of stuff
Like the cars and helis
the parsel from mt
the destroy and steal missions
