Thank you so much for your efforts, its very difficult and boring to learn from trailhead specially when we are unable to do hands on it. I really appreciate for all of you to take time and share your valuable experience with us. Its been great learning with all of you. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart :)👏🏻
Hey there, great video, great quality and clarity. Love this bootcamp! Just pls. could you add timelinks/chapters for faster orientation between the topics on the video's timeline? I made these, feel free to use them as reference (or copy them ;) ). Adding it would be appretiated by everybody, I believe. Thanks again :) . 0:00 Session intro 3:30 Vicki's introduction 6:17 Automation Studio basics 8:41 What is the automation in SFMC 11:23 Getting into the Automation Studio 13:07 Schedule (starting point) 17:27 File Drop (starting point) 21:56 Activities - Send Email, SMS, Send GroupConnect 26:34 SQL activity and the system view tables 29:05 Demo: Automation with filter 34:51 Demo: Automation with SQL 38:10 Need to know theory - SQL and Filters 39:07 Wait, Verification, Import (activities) 44:20 File Transfer, Data Extract (activities) 49:26 Script, Report Definition (activities) 51:44 Error handling (notifications, advanced run once) 57:15 Automation - run once, activate, delete, pause 58:50 Quiz 1:09:47 Questions/outro
Thanks for your positive feedback. I really would like to add those to each and every video but there's a lot happening and it already takes a lot of time to co-ordinate and organize this bootcamp. Hoping to get there sometime. Thanks for being proactive in sending the topic timeline, I will add them to the description
I think C is not completely wrong as in the end you could get the same results, but you don’t really need the data filter in this case because you will not be using an automation. Essentially the data filter is just there so you can use it as an activity if you do an automation. We dont want to use an automation in this case so doing a filtered data extension is easier and quicker.
Thank you so much for this video. I am learning and decided to learn Mktg cloud.

I have a question regarding Quiz 5: why couldn’t it be letter C?
(I was in between B and C)
