Hi, I came across this in my feed, since I'm a TM fan :) Awesome run! Just curious, how is Twister's special so strong? I don't remember it being that way lol, and why does the ability meter go down during the special, am I missing something? Lol. Also, the healths having a heart instead of a cross gave me a Mandela effect lol, is this a different version of TM2?
@@bryant475 Nice to have you here brother, thank you! Her special is doing so much damage because I’m planting mines while doing it. That’s why you’re seeing that drain on my energy bar. Big reason for why you rarely see me going for freeze missiles with her, as I always need to be saving my energy to finish people off fast. As for the health icons, this is the PS4/5 release of the game, as part of the PS Classics on PS Plus. They had to change the cross due to a copyright on it from the Red Cross. I’ve heard other games from this era dealt with this as well.
How did Outlaw 2 fly over the fence in Hong Kong? Whenever I play that never happens. Also seems like Twister is only good if you know the mine trick. Great run!
@@BigSlick98 Big ups Cody! Looks like she drove up the ramp too fast and flew right over the wall lol. Considering what she did to me on this map last time with Twister, I guess she felt bad and wanted to make it up to me. embrace top tier Twister my friend 🙏 🌪️.
@@Hxitred Thank you bro. For real though it might be because he wasn’t moving before I started the tornado, so he didn’t have any speed to generate ramming power. Sweet Tooth’s a good choice for deathless runs. His special/ram stunlock combos make it easier to take out people without too much risk to yourself. Warthog’s a good pick too with his ungodly amount of armor.
@@lordraiden1038 No problem. And I suppose that might be the case. Although I looked through the timestamp a little more thoroughly and it seems like his initial ram damaged you but when you used your special you survived the onslaught of him and Roadkill's corpse being in the twister while being at the wall on 1hp. I figured that using her special at a wall would be a death sentence since it pushes enemies into her.
@ Yeah this game can be an enigma a lot of time to be sure lol. The jank is just meant to be part of the charm I guess. That’s happened to me with her a few times before where I had 1hp and she just refuses to die. Sometimes with more than 2 people in the tornado. Only other explanation is maybe that it counts as wall damage, and I didn’t die because you have to turbo top speed into walls to die in this game.
@ agreed, I usually always played on my old mans system but I bought my own and have been trying to conquer it for a few days now, but after years of training since I was young by my dad. He was the best player I ever knew, and in his prime he broke the world records he read in old gaming magazines
@ That’s cool man. I used to play on my dad’s old PS1 too before it died. Now I just play the PS Classics release on new gen consoles. It’s worth getting over the hump in this game, and learning to beat it. I got good memories playing games with my dad too. Respect to your father for his perseverance. It takes dedication to put yourself through this, trust me lol.
