I have always avoided the woven stitch and replaced it with the wattle stitch; I persevered with this project and can only agree with you: it is a magical pattern, thank you Bonnie

Finally! I'm on video #3! I had some difficulty counting, did a lot of frogging, but finally, I am over the halfway point! I did make it a bit harder on myself by increasing my foundation to 119 stitches. That means I am counting to 118 on each row. I used stitch markers to help count and noticed I could see cluster stitch patterns 3's, 4's, etc. I could calculate the number of cables, popcorn puffs, .....made it so much easier. I thought of myself as being at an Intermediate skill level, but I had never worked a cable type stitch. I feel tremendously accomplished. I am pushing to complete this by the end of the month. I'll post a pic no matter what. I could never done this without your tutorials Bonnie. Thank you again.
This is a beautiful throw. You have put a lot of work into this and it shows. The stitches are beautiful and your tutorials of the stitches are great to follow.
You are absolutely brilliant, great teacher and I've really enjoyed following your work. Just waiting on my yarn to be delivered. After my email on Sunday, I wish you and your family well in these hard times. God bless. X
Ann Papadopulo thank you! Hope you are doing well there. I had such a wonderful time hanging out with you gals in NYC! Hope to see you in your beautiful country someday!❤️😊
Thank you for sharing I love your Afghan it’s absolutely beautiful I want to make this so bad but I’m unable to right now due to I had surgery on my hand and I’m unable to crochet for the moment until I get doctors ok I can start crocheting again
So very sorry to hear about your surgery Brenda. Praying for you right now for quick and complete healing. Take care and get better. These videos will be waiting for you...
I have to admit, I nearly quit over that elongated cable row. I tore the 3rd row completely out, thinking I had completed it incorrectly. I finally slowed the video down and was able to see that I was starting the 4th row in the wrong place. Do it right and it works out beautifully. Thank God for rewind! Lol
Love all of these sections!! I also love the poncho you're wearing in this video. Is the pattern for it available? It's beautiful. God Bless you and your family.

Hey Bonnie, just to let you know I am running behind, the tornado that rip threw Tennessee hit me with a F3, it went threw west of Nashville for 52 miles on the ground and stopping till it killed 25+ people. Houses are gone, family members missing and their fur babies. It’s so sad.,
Diana Gibson I was wondering how many of our crochet friends would be affected by that terrible storm. Prayers for you all. So glad you are ok! Please let us know if we can do anything else. The videos for this project aren’t going anywhere and are far less important than what you are walking through. 😞
There appears to be an extra row in the video for the braided cable. I thought I was going crazy. I can’t really read patterns so follow the videos. I had to resort to buying the pattern to read and work out why it wasn’t working. In the video Bonnie, you do row 10&11, then you do another row, then tell us to do 10&11 twice more. Is this a mistake?
Hi Bonnie I'm Lis from New Zealand, I've been following your vids for this pattern and I've managed to stuff up the stich counting making part of blanket 20 stitches to many then the bulk 20 stitches less, I don't want to undo if I made a panel and joined it up the side that's all wrong would that work?
Yes, there actually is, using single crochet in place of the slip stitch in the first row, but I honestly don’t card for the look of this stitch! Great question Scarlett!😊😊😊

Ha ha! And thankfully ripping out is much easier with crochet than it is with knitting! So glad that worked out for you Vanessa!😊❤️

Not sure I’m following your question clearly Lis. You can always contact me at bonniebay@me.com for a longer discussion so I can better understand.😊

So ~ ~ is there a high front ridge? ;)
Yes, there actually is, using single crochet in place of the slip stitch in the first row, but I honestly don’t card for the look of this stitch! Great question Scarlett!😊😊😊
One of the most challenging projects I have ever done.
Hope you are enjoying this Ann!
Bonnie, How many yards are in the skeins your using in this throw
There is 201 yards in each skein, and I am using 2 skeins of each color (except for 1 color). The total yardage is approximately 3,800 yards.
On the elongated cables how many sets of 3 are on the first row
Susan B there are 18 cables, 36 sets of 3 front post stitches.😊
