If you are old like me 70 will be 71 july 22 This is a great club - I got this club on the course for 200$ from one of the guys that said he could not hit it. I immediately took possession at that price as the club was immaculent. After hitting it a couple of rounds I got the sling technique worked out and boom I am back to 250 drives - When I was younger up till 63 I hit some drives 325 plus in tounaments and drove a few par 4's - as soon as the reflexs slows down yardage goes with it. But for all my older golfing freinds, this club is so easy on your torso. I have a heart condition(4 stints) and this club does not tire me out like the R15 I had. If you need a lighter club to still play and not get over worked try it out!
Got fitted today, and compared XXIO 11 with several other drivers. The stats clearly demonstrated that this one stood out for my moderate swing speed. Can’t wait to take it out this weekend. Yes it’s pricey, but I keep clubs a while and the performance advantage fit me was undeniable. I watched this review to validate my selection, which it did. Thanks for the review!
I have a 10 year old XXIO driver that looks very much like yours. It hits longer and straigher than any other driver I have ever hit. I got it used for about $50 here in Japan. I can only imagine that XXIO's new drivers would be sweet but since my 10 year old is hitting well over 300 yards for me and goes dead straight, I am not in any hurry to upgrade - you can't get better than perfect!
Got theXXIO 11 irons used in mid April and really love them. Wanting to get the driver, I am a retired Army Colonel and have the $$. Have a back injury from active duty but now hitting the ball and swing slow. Is it worth it, my piggy bank is really for new or used.
Hey I'm just wondering what flex shaft you hit with the xxio 11v driver? Regular or stiff? My swingspeed is about 90-95mph. Usually hit regular driver shafts, but not sure if I should get regular or stiff. Thanks
Yeah, it's definitely pricey. As I stated, that's why it's not currently in my bag. But, the driver impressed me more than the irons did. And I was pretty impressed by the irons.
I've been playing XXIO Prime 10 for a few years now. I have a demo version of the XXIO Eleven on the way to me. I suspect I will be keeping it as I have found my swing speed is a bit too fast for the Prime, hopefully the Eleven will be a better fit. I must say I don't really understand how the butt weight is supposed to help. I have swung counter balanced clubs before like the TaylorMade SIM Max and I don't really find much consistency with them. Hopefully the Eleven has done it right. I don't get the science in the butt weight though. Nice review - thank you!
Glad you enjoyed the review! Like you, I'm not totally sure how the weight in the handle is supposed to help. But I will say for me, this driver was one of the easier drivers I've ever hit. If the XXIO Eleven doesn't work for you, maybe consider the X series? That line is geared towards folks with faster swing speeds, too. In either case, hope you find the club you need!
Nice review, it’s my first time visiting your channel. It would be great if we could better hear the sound of the driver at impact. Thanks and keep up the good work!
I really think it's your preference. If you get fitted for it and it suits/improves your game then that may be worth it to you. But if it doesn't add any significant improvements to your game then you may be better off with a less pricey driver.
the way you pronounced it "sexio"..... LOL. "XSIO" has been in the US for a long time (since 2004). But of course, it is not a golf club that is easily found at Dicks or Target. You have to go to stores at golf courses. Then you can find some "Drivers" and "Iron Set". I saw one at a golf course selling for $300. I think it was XXIO 8 driver. And again, the flex is Soft regular and it is for "senior" golfers.
Some XXIOs like the Prime series have soft R shafts, however many XXIO R shafts are quite stiff. And in the last 10 years they have made many clubs with S shafts. So although they make them speciallly for lower speed golfers, they suit me and I have quite a high speed clubhead. In fact I love my XXIO irons and driver, they went in my bag about a year ago and are not coming out except to hit long and straight shots.
Shame about the price, had an interest in XXIO clubs for some time now. The weight at the end of the shaft reminds me of the Yonex clubs, I alternate between the Srixon Z785 and the Yonex GT driver.

Agreed! If it ain't broke don't try to fix it!
💯 % agree I have the SR FLEX that was given to me and I thought why would I use it and now I absolutely love
Nice review. I’m close to pulling the trigger on the XXIO 11 and this helps. Subscribed!

Got one last year. It’s the best driver I ever owned. Don’t over swing this club, as for me it will hook. 80% is perfect

What shaft did you use? Regular or stiff?
I believe it was a regular flex. If you're wondering if it was too whippy, it wasn't.
Wasn't quite so sure about the driver, the price was just too much. But i was tempted 🤫

yea everybody pays 550?add upgrade shaft=cheaper???????????????????????

Got it. I will try to accommodate that in my future reviews!
also
do you think if its worth to pay couple hundreds more for the prime driver?
thanks

like your reviews.
I appreciate that!

Do you have any plans to test the new Yonex clubs , that's another club of interest that nobody seems to test.
Let me see what I can do!

Yeah, I know. But knowing how it performs for me, I'll be keeping an eye out for a used version of this club.
What loft did you use please?
10.5
Thanks
Lol however if my wife finds out 😂😂
The dilemma with 80 percent of golfers
This is true! 😂😂😂
How much??? The XXIO 11 prime is $900. Picked one up a PGA superstore. It weighs zero .absolutely nothing in your hands at all. But the price
