The new titan is tricky to use but not very hard to master. You basically have to engage any titan with your primary ability ready because the defense mitigation coming from there is the only chance of surviving big boys like Luchador, Mauler and Bedwyr. You also gotta be careful with the timing and use of your secondary stealth ability. Overall it’s quite a strong titan with more space to strategize and think about your next move unlike Mauler for example. What do you think of Devourer?

3:25 very smart. Revving up the weapons before engaging in combat, so they're already charged by the time you attack. The same can be done with Punishers/Avenger, shooting slowly beforehand to get the weapons to accelerate sooner
I always have shot grouping AND speedshooter with ultimate avengers/punishers. Some think that speedshooter isn't necessary which is fine. I tend to think it makes a huge difference from my experience. Especially in a 1v1 face to face showdown.

Trying to release a new titan with Mauler still being so dominant was perhaps not such a smart idea on Pixonic's part, and Mauler certainly overshadows and outperforms Devourer. Additionally, QR is being used so much more than usual right now with the dominance of Dux - and the usage rates are definitely going to rise due to Ravager. I had the...displeasure...of fighting DarkNerdRage in the new Push mode today. He was running both Ravager and Devourer, and to be honest I did not find them to be nearly as problematic as his Raptor or Dux. The titan hurt and I had to be careful of where his allied Mauler's Darklight field was, but my team and I were able to take it down. I'm hoping that we'll see Mauler and the ASGs get nerfed (in a way which makes it still competitive as a brawler titan but not an omnipresent jack-of-all-trades-master-of-everything titan) soon so that Devourer has a chance to shine. I genuinely really like the concept of this titan.
You should try the heimdall with speed skills + frederick in orbital mayhem when possible, or in general just frederick in orbital mayhem. That would be insane stacking multiple super speed boosts constantly

I mean the Mauler is a monster in engaging brawls while also being durable that it can take on 2 of more titans (non-mauler of course) and win. The new titan doesn't really have the resistance that mauler has, though it has some other gimmicks like stealth and leech ability, give it a few weeks or months then they will "balance" mauler like how the ochokochi is right now..

Very deadly but definitely not just a rush in and button mash job. You have to use your abilities selectively and time them right. I like it for it's more strategic playstyle. That's what's been missing from the game for quite a while now.

Additionally, they really don't pair with Devourer since Devourer needs to do a lot of damage instantly to survive dropping its stealth.
I liked the new items. I would not say that these are some kind of non-killable robots. they are in their balance, although talking about the balance in the game war robots is stupid.

Does the Devourer primary ability Essence Shift give immunity to defense mitigation from Dux or does it still bypass it?
