great sound!! i really like the sound you get from your thunderbird...i have a thunderbird as well and i can't find a sound like yours....how do you get that sound? do you use some compressor, boost treble on amp setting or other? cheers!!!

Hi Nicolas. Yeah I use a little bit of compression and eq that is within pro tools first. Not too much though, about 3:1. A little bit of rolloff at about 500k and a little boost between 1k and 2k on the eq. I hope that helps. And thanks from leaving your comment, it's much appreciated.

does ur tbird hum? we have the same one but urs sounds very clean. what strings? :)

Hi Henry. Mine doesn't hum. You may have a grounding issue if your bass has a hum. Check the grounding loop on your bass or try a different cable to your amp when you plug the bass in. Also, it may be your amp that is the problem. I use Rotosound swing 66s on the tbird. I hope you sort it out soon.
