I could not agree more. I have been playing a variant of Malaguena my father taught me as a child and changed it in my own way since. I can not read music but can assure any 'by ear' player that it is a much easier piece to master than it sounds.

I wish there was a more detailed tutorial. The timing and correct fingering has been a bit difficult to get for me. I get all the way up to 42, and then I play the rest but it doesn’t quite sound right.

Sounds great. The best version. And no darn bar chords. I just have to master the strumming. That makes it sound so Spanish. But I can't access the tabs and had to copy it down by hand.
Doesn't iT close with a bar chord, that I sure in hell can't play. I also copied all the tabs by hand, and then I found how to access them, like five minutes after I finished copying.

I could not agree more. I have been playing a variant of Malaguena my father taught me as a child and changed it in my own way since. I can not read music but can assure any 'by ear' player that it is a much easier piece to master than it sounds.

Patience is the key
One month is really quick for a classical or flamenco song, something that isn't a 4 chord pop song with one strumming pattern takes a bit of time..

Maybe Asturias by Albeniz? It's in a similar style and I think the difficulty level ranges depending on which arrangement you play :)
