Love the gravity banker, what a great idea. Maybe your secret spot has a better concentration along the front stream side. Wish I was there helping you shovel👍⛏️
Hey Jason, add a shut off valve to your gravity fed high banker so that you can stop the water flow between shovels to save your back from moving more water than needed. Also, a dollar store kitchen strainer turned upside down in the inside of the bucket will solve the problem of it getting plugged up with leaves.
Comment 391 the gravity feed high banker worked a treat...however I myself would be adding a valve. honey gate or a plug/cork/ball to be able to stop start the water at will and save the back a bit. Nice smile and Rigby should be happy those results.. Great day and you made a couple of blokes happy and put them on better gold 😍 Thanks for shareing Jason Regards Sleepy

Love what your doing and always putting a smile on my face. Some good suggestions from folks too. Up in Sliver Cliff on the side of MaCasslin you gut these truck sized boulders dumped by the glacier. Under them you can have lenses of coarse washed gravel. Do you think it would be worth digging down and panning that material?
If you take a 4” piece of PVC and reduce it to 2” then reduce it to 1” then reduce it to 1/2 or3/4 and put it in a running current the reduction creates pressure. Maybe enough to lift the water into your crash box for a continuous feed. Sort of like how the flare at the head of your sluice is wide then narrows for increased flow at the tail.

@@FlourgoldWizards what about planting a tree 3 to 20 feet back.😉 How many times has it changed course and crossed itself in the last forever? The actual gravel bottom could really wide and the loam moves around especially if it was a waaay bigger river eons ago.
Nice work Jason! Hey I think you need a rubber flap over the nipple on the inside or maybe just a cork plug on the outside of your wash bucket. Thinking a coat hanger or wire and a piece rubber to stop up the water when filling. (See the inside of your toilet 🚽 ). 😁 Then when ready to wash, unstop the wash bucket and flush! Just might save you a couple hundred extra refills! Stay Golden pal! Oh yeah.. I’m sending in a scratch request on that gold hound from me! ✌️PT

I like it !
Ah yes, @ 8 minutes the hard packed gravel shovel dance ! That's when I know I'm in a good spot!
Its a waltz after a while!!🤣🤣✅
Note to myself. Add a hibanker to the list of things to get . I’m sure Illinois has the same regulations in my part of the woods. Rite on brother .
Also add a helper!!!! 🤣✅🍻
I wonder if you can find where the bigger gold is shedding in? Is there a change in gravel or heavies....that glacier pooped somewhere close....🍻🤝
Agreed…. If I could just dig in the bank a little bit !!!🤣🤣🤣👍🏻🍻
@@FlourgoldWizards what about planting a tree 3 to 20 feet back.😉 How many times has it changed course and crossed itself in the last forever? The actual gravel bottom could really wide and the loam moves around especially if it was a waaay bigger river eons ago.
It's too bad you cant run a battery and pump but that sure ain't gonna stop ya. That sure is a lot of gold. Thanks for the video!
Nothing stops a hungry miner !!!! 👍🏻🍻🤣✅
That how it should be man showing them guy a better spot then where they was keep up the great work 👍👍👍
Agreed!!!! Thanks Burton ✅

@@ProspectorTripp I was in California once.
Since then I have loved the hospitality and the love that has been shown to me. I will never forget it and I want to give something back. It comes from the heart.
Would this method with gravity fed work for the shore of the Superior Ocean? Great video and equipment demo.
They specifically addressed that too … no 😭
@@FlourgoldWizards that sucks hopefully it changes.
Great video and nice pile of gold thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks!!!!
Great video Jason but I need a autograph by the AU sniffing dog aka very popular pup Rigby. It seems that he can put you on gold with in minutes.
I’ll check with him!!!!
Hey Jason I know you work construction as a bricklayer maybe grab a small Athens piece of rigid insulation and put in the bottom of your pails in between it'll still stay together but then I'll come apart a lot easier it's a trick I learned hope you have a great day
I’ll have to give that a whirl!!🍻
Good boy Rigby, Keep up the good work.
