That was awesome 😎 How cool was it to find that drawing !?!? I remember a series of books our school library had that focused on each monster - can see the covers now in my mind's eye. The covers had a picture of the monster from the movie - orange borders - we would check those books out every time 😊 Thank you for posting this - loved it 🫡

Great book QNS. And, to find a drawing you did over 40 years ago is so cool. Those old, classic movies stand the test of time in my opinion because they were not as graphic as today's horror movies so you had to use your imagination more.

I always appreciated the subtle aspects of horror more. I wasn't impressed by the turn horror films took in the 80's.

I would have LOVED to have that book as a child! My chilhood was all about monsters. Any comic books with a monster on the cover was the coolest on the spinner rack. Godzilla and King Kong movies were the best! And dinosaurs!!! We could never get enough of dinosaurs! Plastic dinosaur figures were favorite toys. Any books about dinosaurs at the library didn't stay on the shelf very long. I knew and still can name most of them: diplodocus, trachodon, styracosaurus, iguanodon, etc... Monsters were the tops! This book is awesome and I think it's great that you managed to keep it all those years!

Oh yeah, I had the plastic dinosaurs and toy soldiers too, and a dinosaur book that I have to look for now also.

Fantastic book on those classic monsters, sir! I had a big hardcover book a long the same lines as yours and it really opened my eyes to more great movies of those monsters. I hadn't thought about that in years! Great memories of awesome monsters from my childhood, thanks QNS!,😎👍

If you can dig it out and show it on CBM or a separate video with other hardcovers that would be cool to see.
