The reason the fielding is so whack is because of the show 17. In that game a lot of competitive players would play outfielders that could hit super well, but didn’t have a spot in the outfield, at first base. Even though these outfielders didn’t have first base as a secondary position they still played first base perfectly. In mlb 18 they changed that and made it so out of position first baseman are pretty much useless. Im mlb 19 they made a huge change where if you played any player at anywhere out of position their fielding stat would decrease drastically. So with all the ohtanis being right fielders they are out of position everywhere. Catcher out of position has always been whack.

I don't know what was sillier; Cleveland calling for a fair catch with no time left on the clock or Houston electing to punt instead of letting time expire. 🤣🤣🤣

The most unrealistic thing about this whole mess is the plate umpire leaning over the catchers shoulder to see the ball better…that’s hysterically unrealistic.

Hey, I actually remember going to a Tigers game when Bo Jackson was playing for the Royals! I don't even remember who won, I just remember Bo getting seemingly louder cheers than a lot of the Tigers players when they announced the lineups, lol (one thing about old Tiger Stadium was that it could get pretty damn loud, more so than Comerica Park, especially when there was a decent crowd, maybe because it was more closed in, I suppose)

When you said “Just one more strike” in game 6 of the World Series, I felt it way stronger than I expected. Yes I’m a Ranger’s fan, but I’m a casual fan, barely watch baseball, I should be over a World Series almost a decade ago by now right? Right?

The real world is funny. Ohtani, now a Dodger, has now won a World Series... *but* he accomplished very little during that series (not *nothing* but nowhere near the spectacles you probably hoped for; plus an injury kept him from pitching at all this year) while the rest of his team (especially series MVP Freddie Freeman) did all the significant work. I'm not sure what *that* says about baseball, but I will admit that given the choice between disappearing in the Angels forever or doing what was shown in this video, baseball picked a third option I totally would never have expected????
