So, fun fact, the government of Canada, specifically the folks that handle Employment Insurance, play music like this when you're on hold, which I was for about 15 minutes today. It was so soothing and calming and I tried to identify the tune using software online but nothing was coming up so my theory is 1) the government of Canada knows how stressful these phone calls and being on hold can be and 2) decided they'd rather COMMISSION a MEXICAN GUITAR JAM for their hold music rather than stress people out. 3) screw patriotism we need calming jams and Mexico guitar music HAS IT. I have often lamented our geographical distance from Mexico because of all the wonders of Mexico... the further north you get the harder it is to find stuff from Mexico. (My few road trips near the Mexican border have been my favourite). Golly I am glad to have found music that sounds like that hold music! lol. Yours IS more dynamic, of course, as it's actual songs. Beautiful!

The reason why Mexico is beautiful is because it’s tragic it’s history has always been tragic winning independence only to see the empire split apart because of religion and democracy, lost texas and invaded by the US and lost half its territory, invaded by the French and won, a bloody revolution that changed nothing. Culture revolution that lead to opresión, the poverty that lead to immigrating north and the Narco wars that tears the country apart. Still after all that tragedy Mexico still is there the beautiful motherland.
