I agree with you all the way dude. They're my 3rd favorite band and I'm not the negative people ruin it for me. They're probably just jealous that they can't write material like Nickelback can. When I see Nickelback I see talent, not crappy music.

I'm really looking forward to the greatest hits with new songs and the new record. I hope they include songs from "Curb" and "The State" on the greatest hits cd. I don't care if it's just one song, just something from those albums.

If you think Nickelback sucks, go listen to All The Right Reasons. Its definitely one of the best Hard Rock albums of the 21st century so far.
Chad said that about Hesher, their debut release. He said the only song off of that EP that was awesome was Fly.

Where did you hear that? "Fly" is the only single, it has to be on there it "is a hit". I don't understand why he would hate his first album, I think it's sick.
I'm kinda surprised they're already getting ready for their next record. All the right reasons And dark horse had nearly 3 year cycles on each album.

Nickelback is a truly talented band and most people have no idea how talented they are because they for some fucking reason feel the need to say they "SUCK" with no reason or logic behind it, and that "ALL THERE SONGS ARE THE SAME!!!"
Yeah, I agree, the crushing metal in riff "Because Of You" and the beautiful strumming chords in "Far Away" sound identical...

I wouldn't hold out much hope for that, Nickelback won't ever go back to their old style simply because they make too much money catering to what everyone/radio wants now a days, and bowing down to the record label and what they want, which is why there is a greatest hits CD coming out (Record label wanted it, not NB, but they did it anyway). I wouldn't be surprised if Chad has Avril sing on atleast 2 songs on the new Nickelback CD of 2014, since he is singing on hers, she should sing on his.
Other than that, I agree with what you said above xD
i got their greatest hits and there was nothing new on it.
15years back it would've been, it's heavier then ACDC in some ways, and ACDC was heard rock back then, now it's classic.. but why bother a genre, good music is good music for, I listen al kinds of stuff.. from limpbizkit tot cannibal corpse, to nickelback tot slipknot etc..

I know... that's WHY i don't listen to them. The problem is that now the radio is gonna overplay the shit out of them. Oh and btw I don't like them because every album is the same (fast songs about sex and drugs, then slow songs about relationships or a related topic). Also, the guitarists never innovate or do anything interesting... its just power chords, and more power chords. Also Chad Kroeger has like a 1.5 octave vocal range which in general is just shit.
Nickelback: The only thing from Canada worse than Justin Bieber. I'm a Rock music fan and these guys are a disgrace to the genre. They make Poison look like Led Zeppelin.
