Thank you so much for passing along the information about the D.S. & Durga sample sale. I had tried a sample of Debaser and fell in love with it. It's so unique to my collection, and I desperately wanted a full bottle, but not at $180! And they've raised their prices since then, so to get the full bottle of Debaser for $85 felt like a total steal. And I couldn't find a thing wrong with my full bottle. It appears new and unblemished (I'm certainly not complaining!). I got a sample of Tonkazure Pearlescent Perfume after you told me about it. I like it and am very pleased to have the sample, but I don't think I would wear it often, so it's not full-bottle worthy to me. I can't put my finger on why though. Also, you recommended to me Confessions of a Rebel's Bite Me, and I selected that as my Scentbird perfume for August. When I sprayed it the first time, I was unsure and not sold on it. But then I wore it a second time on another day, and I fell in love with it. It's sharp and bright but has a hint of vanilla in it that is just so nice. You're really selling me on the Arabian Orient scent; it sounds right up my alley, and at $40, I am considering it, though I need to slow my roll(er ball or spray 🤣) when it comes to fragrances. Including samples since I have enough samples to last for a year. But there's something about wanting to smell all the smells (the good smells), almost like walking into an ice cream shop or a bakery and wanting to taste test everything.
Hahahaha love the puns 😉 Yeah-tonkazure will be one for when I’m in the right mood. I’m actually curious to try it in the wintertime. I did a mini spritz of Bite Me along with my BR540 dupe today and really liked it. At first, Bite Me seems a bit much-but once it settles down I really enjoy it! We really got such a steal on the DS&DURGA! Glad to spread the good deals to all the scent lovers out there! NOW I need to organize all my samples and use those continuously. I’m actually considering a scent sample September where I wear samples exclusively on the weekdays…no full sizes!
I’ve fallen deep into the fragrance rabbit hole. Scent Split is saving me from impulsive blind buying and is feeding my FOMO soul, but those little 5ml samples can add up fast. ❤
I have a lot of samples… so many I’m thinking of starting a channel😂 I know what you mean about trying to find what you wanted kayali yum pistachio to be. I actually really like that scent but I can’t smell the nuttiness on myself although sometimes when I go onto The room where I applied it I can smell a little of it and think this room smells good😂 truth is I am still trying to figure out what works better on my skin vs it actually works better in my clothes. I have had scents I prefer one way not the other. Best wishes to you nice video!!!
Yes I think Yum Pistachio is a lovely scent-I just don’t really get pistachio gelato at all 🤣 (Also, I laughed out loud when you mentioned the room smelling good because I thought that would be one EXPENSIVE room spray hahaha) It’s SO easy to end up with so many samples that you just lose track and feel overwhelmed. I’m going to try to get organized this week and hopefully that will help!
I feel like a LOT of people have been getting more into fragrance…I don’t know if everyone is just getting bored/overwhelmed with makeup and shifting gears, or if we all just want a good sensory experience…
