(This isn't the big video I talked about in my community post, that project is still in the works and channel members will be getting exclusive previews of it before its done.) Thank you for watching! Let me know what you think of this new style for railfanning videos, do you like the narration and brief history segment? I just figured it would be a nice change of pace. Also if anyone knows the train symbols please let me know and I'll add them to the description. I don't have a scanner yet and I'm not good at identifying freight trains so that explains the lack of symbols in my railfanning videos.
The first train you saw was e251 origin flat rock Michigan destination hammond, IN the second was Q116 origin homewood IL to flat rock MI basically e251s counter part 3rd train a as needed i don't remember the symbol for that one 4th idk 5th L508 origin flint yard destination flat rock 6th idk 7th idk symbol but it most likely has it destination as Owosso last one was L508 origin flint yard destination flat rock (ps sry i am a durand foamer)
Great video. I'm just a few miles down this line in Gaines @ 1:37 . My property extends to this track, so I'm lucky enough to see every train coming or going. Thanks for sharing.
I have a local CN line that is close to my house but there’s too many trees to see the trains so CN power isn’t seen much by where I railfan and where I live.
Good ol' Durand! Beautiful station and city as a whole! Great footage as always Jared. Great video and great meeting you that one Sunday. Enjoyed seeing your shots and chatting about trains and current events. All the best and keep up the great work!!!!
Durand can be busy in the fall with grain car shunting during the harvest time. Afternoons are the best time for interchange yard work with a 3 roads..
14:48 as of 2024, CN is under going a Rebuild Program on the SD75I & Dash 9-44CWs with the SD75I into SD70ACC Renumbered to the 8300 series and the Dash 9s to the AC44C6Ms numbered to 3300 and now in the 3400 Series with some BNSF Dash 9s getting the treatment with PTC Equipment and new Coats of Paint. With CN 8300 (ex 5725) being the first SD75 Unit to be Rebuild with newer Technology.
I’m may do a theme park and railroad content soon got my user named inspired by you and my favorite Amtrak locomotive based on F59phi 455 which at one point got wrapped and it’s on my favorite service before being sent over to Metra in Chicago
I have unfortunate news to share with the railfan Community As of August 25, 2024, as of when I’m doing this current Norfork southern has announced that they are removing Road regulars from the triple Crown service between Kansas City, Missouri and Detroit Michigan. Norfolk Southern also said they will retain The triple Crown service but now with intermodal and TOFC cars
Trains seen on August 23rd: 3:46- GLC OWO-?? (Question marks only because I don’t understand the number designation of the new train IDs used by GLC). Origin- Osmer Interchange. Destination- Owosso, MI 3:58- CN L508. Origin- CN Flint Yard. Destination- CN Flat Rock Yard
When is the Marysvill and class city branch line cross over video coming? Not rushing you or anything I’m just curious also I think Jackson from marysvill and Jerry from cass city branch might be twins cuz they look identical.
Im saying it on a less popular video, WINNIPEG RAILFAN HAS ESCAPED CANADIAN CONTAINMENT, AND HES GOING TO TOUCH, I REPEAT WINNIPEG RAILFAN HAS ESCAPED CANADIAN CONTAINMENT AND HES GOING TO TOUCH YOU

I go here every friday if you want to come up and i was there on the 23rd what time were you there cuz i got there at 5:00 for the ho club
I prefer this with some narration over no narration.
I have idea. If you are going to do an Engines of Amtrak, talk about the EMD E & F units that were used by Amtrak.

Dude, I love the narration. It adds so much more character to your videos. Keep up the great work my friend!

I like the narration more, your voice isn't jarring or loud so it's good imo
Too bad I live in the Upper peninsula... Or id be at Durand every other week!

JARED IS SLACKINNNN GET POSTING BUDDY
It's weird that there was a half auto rack and a half Inter modal is that something regular up there?
LOL I JUST REALIZED I WAS THERE FOR 2952
Jared, may I ask.
What do you think of redbubble
I don't think CN owns a wash rack. Power is always scruffy.

I know you probably won't see this but can you talk about dutch east indies/Indonesian steam locomotives?
