Nice result in this class. Lickily with the Beetle body you should have enough space inside of it to find a spot for the phone on top of the chassis. Okay, for every check the shell's to be taken off. But as you said, it might be not so top heavy any more. Best wishes for the next runs
There is lots of room under the body, but I have not yet found a good way to mount the phone on the chassi. But I hopefully sort it out 🙂 Thanks for watching and commenting RCBirds 😀
@@electricnitrorc unfortnately I cannot post a foto here. All my wires a binded in one big durable strain. And (I use acycle speedo) I used this as the rope for the rubber tapes of the speedo. So no flatspot needed.
@RCBirds I will probably look at some bike speedometers. At least a little bit cheaper than Skyrc. The best is probably a Skyrc if I find it for a reasonable price 🙂
@@electricnitrorc I'm using the Cycplus Speedo, should be around 25 to 30 bucks. At the start it needs a few minutes to find the satellites, but then it works fine.
Hi. Your phone is going to take some beating 😢 If not done already, try add exponential and reduce steering on the transmitter, then maybe upgrade the servo saver. 25mph is already a good start point 👍🤝
Another servo horn could probably help. Thanks for the tip. I'm not sure if I have any that fits this chassi, but I will check my stash. A better servo will be equipped, have some much better that I don't currently use. The phone still works, but it's just a matter of time before it's bye-bye. I will find a way to mount it on the chassi next run. Thanks 🙂👍
I guess this is the way to solve the steering issues? If I'm not mistaken, I glued the servo saver to get rid of this issue. Maybe the glue doesn't hold it together 🤔 Will definitely take a look at it 🙏 Thanks Joe

Yes, it is very adventurous. You never know what's coming. It's like it has a life of its own, especially with the sloppy steering 😂
