I admire the way you first use your hands like instruments to "read" the condition of the shoes/boots and pick up areas where greater attention or effort is needed...a true craftsmen..ty
I find it very interesting how you choose not to use a coloured shoe cream, but instead apply conditioner and then a hard wax! I wasn't "taught" that way but the results turned out great! I feel like I'll learn a lot from you!

Yoooo, this had everything for me. Slower pace, the audible fist bump at the beginning. The thorough feeling/checking of the boots. The folding of the pants with the nice secure hand check at the end. The detailed brushing, even trying to get into the little crevices. I think not having the spray bottle was a good thing. The spray was too loud for me, but just my opinion. Great vid. Made me sleep right away.
Unless I miss my guess, those are LL Bean hikers. I've had a pair exactly like those for going on 30 years. They have the same roughed up toe box. Now I know how to restore them so they'll look like the day I bought them. Thanks!

I’ve got an old pair of wolverine boots that I’d love to get restored…I wore them for 2 years, and they are still wearable, but I had to get a new pair that were steel toed. I don’t have any boot restoration businesses anywhere around me, but sure would ship them to the right person.

Anybody know what kind of boots these are?
One question from a new mechanic how do I get motor oil off my work boots ? When in my last profession I just could clean with saddle soap but it doesn’t seem to work as well on motor oil in my experience.
