That bar is not going to get those tires on as you found out. I can't use it either, it just twists out of my hands. I did come up with a couple of solutions... That are fairly easy to make - specially the Mk4 Bar in the second video. ruclips.net/video/H_c2ZMIYWdE/видео.html & ruclips.net/video/W8MddFsFmgA/видео.html
I like what you came up with. If Harbor Freight made the working width of the tool a little bit wider, it would probably work great. Where did you obtain the head for the tool you made? I would be interested in welding something like that to the Harbor Freight bar to see if I could improve it.
@@matty-0 Hi Matty. I was actually inspired by this guy, who put a plastic Hunter duck bill onto an iron bar. ruclips.net/video/_ODocXwHasY/видео.html But as I don't have welding gear, I made a wooden bar to do the same thing The head of the HF tire changer is 2" diameter, so I built a 1" offset into it so the center of the duckhead is in the same spot as the hunter machine puts it... Sixtyfiveford does the same thing. The plastic duckhead doesn't scratch rims either, so an added bonus

I appreciate the info - I will definitely check this out. Seems like a nice upgrade to the HF affair.

you need more lubrication
Isn't that the answer for everything?
