Good tip with the digital protractor. I'd like to see a follow up vid how you would do a lay out and cut down posts, top tubes and pickets for that 3 step handrail using that 32deg.
Matt if you find the time could you do a video on a stair job from start to finish including the finer details of layout and field measurements? Thanks for the content this channel is going to exsplode with time.
I need to get me one of these levels. What do you do when their are like 10 concrete steps and the rises and runs vary a little? Just take the average?
So unfortunately any stairs that are older are 95% of the time not going to be consistent. So often times what I’ll do is draw out the steps on the table to get it as close as possible. If it’s a longer set of stairs then I’ll figure the bend to bend points instead. I’ll try to get back on some videos and explain more in detail how we do it and also the tools we use.

Will try to get that done. Lots of ideas but not enough hours in the day

Noob DIY'er here, much appreciated
Thanks for watching and following along
If the steps are 32 deg and you make rail 30 deg wont your post be off 2 deg? Regardless of length
Yes that is correct. Critical to get them right from the start
