Derpston Hale they have insanely huge data centers running RUclips, don't underestimate the processing power needed to handle more than a 100 hours of video upload every minute of every day. ;)
They really should improve the ranking matchmaking. Check cards in the deck used, the wins/games of a person, earned cards and whatnot. I know it'd probably add to the queue time, but it would be better for customer retention and well, fair play.
TheCrosshare You're suffering from a false perception that Hearthstone is heavily dependent on the cards you have. There are many good low-rarity cards. Pros have built budget decks and taken them to Rank 1 / Legendary before. Cards have very little to do with it. Good players will rise in the ranks because they optimize the RNG and rare cards, not because they have rare cards. So, your suggestion would add needless non-beneficial complication.
Nile Wanderer The reason those players aren't high rank is because they constantly concede when they climb too high, to purposefully put themselves at rank 20. This is to grind for gold against new players.
Nile Wanderer Go cry to other competitive scenes then. Skilled players forfeiting or performing sub-optimally to deliberately maintain a low ranking is a common practice in many places. New players shouldn't be going into ranked in the first place, they take the risk of heading up against more skilled players when they do. That's how reality works. Better players will naturally rise through in spite of cards or rank-idlers.
mega17 #1) "New players shouldn't be going into ranked in the first place, they take the risk of heading up against more skilled players when they do." That is flawed logic. ANY FORM OF COMPETITION should allow players to try to compete in this game competitively. #2) "Better players will naturally rise through in spite of cards or rank-idlers." Depends on the player mate. More often than not new players don't got that sort of dough/green/mulah to justify putting money into the game. If a new player has a basic starting deck which is highly likely to be Mage, your going to be hitting a brick wall very early on in the Ranked Ladder because of all the Gold-Farming, Smurfing and Botting that goes on at Ranks 20-18. #3) "Go cry to other competitive scenes then. Skilled players forfeiting or performing sub-optimally to deliberately maintain a low ranking is a common practice in many places." First off please do not use Ad Homenims like "Go cry to other competitive scenes then", it makes your side of the argument look pitiful in comparison. Second of all Hearthstone is one of the few games out there that ENCOURAGES being low-ranked. League of Legends, Basketball, Starcraft, Football ALL ENCOURAGE being able to RISE to a HIGHER status. Winners are the ones who get the money, winners are the ones who get the 1st/Grand Place trophies, winners are the ones with actual fame who have fans that praise them for their ACTUAL prowess. The excuse you provided was and let me repeat it: "Skilled players forfeiting or performing sub-optimally to deliberately maintain a low ranking is a common practice in many places." WHICH IS a irrefutable problem with Ranked within the game of Hearthstone. By defending the Gold Farming that happens at Ranks 20-18 your basically saying its OKAY AND PERFECTLY REASONABLE for such players with such netdecks at ranks 20-18. With accounts that might be A) Smurfing B) Botting C) Gold Farming D) Actual legitmate players trying to rise higher up within the ranks. By again DEFENDING such behavior, your basically saying that you would rather let Ranked turn into a complete joke and thus become a far much worse of an environment by allowing such negative behaviors to allow being to continued unhindered. ... ... ... ... ... ... If you think I hate Hearthstone or that I think this game should go under, I hate to beat your expectations but, I LIKE HEARTHSTONE. However the game is actually flawed by its system for Ranked when trying to climb the ladder because of the reasons listed. Good day sir or madam. Have a wonderful day.
mega17 Problem with your *whole* argument is that it's based on one word in my whole argument. The argument is "better matchmaking to fair things otu, so things like legendary rank vs day 1 player don't happen". You focus on "You think cards are the key!" Which i didn't say. It needs a better ranking system and even this video shows it as does many other ranking streams etc. Fact and end of.
cut crendor some slack, come on. i think he simply needs to play a game a couple of times to understand it and get some routine. he might take longer to learn the game than many others, but he will eventually get it.
Michael Lojewski so, what you're saying is just because he is not the brightest, he can't be a nice guy and a fun person to have around? well, *that* is stupid, if you really believe that.
***** yeah but for whatever reason i cant watch twitch videos even on mobile quality without it buffering every 2 seconds but i can watch youtube 1080p smoothly
Wow ! watching this stream has really made me feel better about myself. I've been stuck at rank 20 ever since i started hearthstone i think the furthest i got was around rank 16 but if even TB can get stalled at rank 20 then maybe i'm not quite as bad as I thought... Anyways thanks for the upload, it's nice to see totalbiscuit playing hearthstone again, I'm looking forward to seeing him play the blackrock mountain solo adventure :-)
Daniel Scarpaci The deck was a gimmick, those cards don't fit with it. Also, corruption isn't actually as amazing as some people seem to think, since lots of decks can't recover after the turn it takes to kill the creature it is on.
I appreciate his deck. I also play full demonlock, it being my main ladder deck. I can get to rank 13 over the course of a season if I can get a good win streak, but the deck is otherwise too self destructive.
People wondering why TB uses gimmick decks? People wondering why TB even plays and records these? Here's a thought! Maybe he's doing something he enjoys and to get a few bucks off of it! Huh!
Why do I even watch TB play HS? I love the guy, but seriously. His just another personality doing something that's a trend but being terrible at it. Not hating, just a bit sad. At least Day9 has *some* skill.
MadDany Like many people said, there's two ways of being famous on youtube/ twitch, extreme skill or fun and stupidity, TB is not bad at the game, but still not good enough to fit into the first category, that's why he chose the way of funny and dumb themed decks, which is fine for most (I don't really watch his heartstone videos 'cause I don't care about the game, they are just on when I'm busy with something else, filling the silence of my room with his soothing voice, but I understand why others might actively enjoy them)
RufusOmega He still does some quite severe misplays while on stream, I don't know why because on RUclips he plays normally, maybe Twitch chat is too overwhelming for him?
the reason the net decks are there is mostly because they are terrible players that need a good, consistent deck to get any wins. i've seen so many mis-plays with people with decks that i should have little to no chance of beating, too bad for them i'm just better
Attila Pataki true but my point is, those players play with good decks but don't have the skill to match them so they lose more often, they get stuck at lower ranks because they don't understand things or play around things. Thats why they are lower, at least for the most part, some will smurf, some will bot but it's mostly low skill constructed players that have put in a lot of time, money or are good at arena. Although i'm on eu so na might be different
***** I think most people around that rank only play constructed for the card back, me included. I have an extremely outdated deck that i play up to rank 20 then i just do arena, doubt im alone in this.
***** I recently started playing constructed more, and I know that at least some of us are that rank just from the fact we have to grind for some good cards. A lot. So much grinding. XD That is part of the reason, and like you said many people at that level just might not know how to play it well enough.
"Surprising to see a lot of good decks around rank 20 still" says the person who probably has every card except maybe golden versions. Granted he's playing gimmicks, but the whole "gimmicks have some moderate success" always come against poor saps who are just trying to get by. So the question is he, who is making money off doing this which allowed him to get everything that he has in the game, really any better than the "smurfing" people who are grinding for those 30 wins a day off "newbs" ?
You mean in a way the player just a ass for playing a class so easy that a baby can play it yeah, that deck seriously powerful. Not salty just facts guy prob can't win with anything else but that class
Thanks for taking the time you record and upload these, really enjoy them as he streams bad times for me, cheers buddy.
I AM MALGANIS, I AM A TURTLE!!!
Just like to thank you for uploading these! we don't all live in TB's time zone or we are to busy. So thanks alot man!
for the first time im fast enough to watch the video on 360p.
its bittersweet.
I started uploading the video 24 hours ago and it still isn't 720p
not the first time ive heard that :/ google should really get better servers for youtube.
Derpston Hale to be fair the amount of content uploaded is insane. They probably have really good servers.
Derpston Hale they have insanely huge data centers running RUclips, don't underestimate the processing power needed to handle more than a 100 hours of video upload every minute of every day. ;)
MrAzhrarn True. But I wish it was some kind of indicator on how long it was before a video went into the render farm.
Sometimes I sincerely think that some people's tactic is to take illogically long turns so you just give up. Wouldn't surprise.
People do that all the time on ladder.
They really should improve the ranking matchmaking. Check cards in the deck used, the wins/games of a person, earned cards and whatnot. I know it'd probably add to the queue time, but it would be better for customer retention and well, fair play.

Whats the soundtrack at ~11:35
Did he ever/going to finish the heroic first wing ?
Are you going to upload the latest cooptional lounge
hepotitusz Crendor does that, why would he?
Thanks for the upload. Is there gonna be a VoD of TB's stream of wing 2 as well?
cut crendor some slack, come on. i think he simply needs to play a game a couple of times to understand it and get some routine. he might take longer to learn the game than many others, but he will eventually get it.
***** No slack will be cut.
***** He is dumb as bricks and the fact you people like him has always made no sense to me.
Michael Lojewski
so, what you're saying is just because he is not the brightest, he can't be a nice guy and a fun person to have around? well, *that* is stupid, if you really believe that.
***** Michael is to bored of his life to love Crendor :P
arthegor Or he just appreciates his IQ not being lowered.
i know that the answer to this question is probably no but are you going to upload the act of war stream he did for GoG?
If GoG doesn't upload it within a month, I will
***** yeah but for whatever reason i cant watch twitch videos even on mobile quality without it buffering every 2 seconds but i can watch youtube 1080p smoothly
***** Twitch vods will also be automatically removed after a certain time period.
Santi Freytes www.reddit.com/r/DotA2/comments/1gqfy7/twitch_lag_a_fix_that_worked_for_me/ here you go a fix for your twitch
Can I get this music anywhere?

Hari TC To be fair tb plays decks that are bad on purpose.
if he put some lock removal like shadowflame and corruption in that deck it would perform more reliably vs. "net decks"
Daniel Scarpaci The deck was a gimmick, those cards don't fit with it. Also, corruption isn't actually as amazing as some people seem to think, since lots of decks can't recover after the turn it takes to kill the creature it is on.
Then it would be a "net deck" which defeats the purpose.
What is Passionstone.
I appreciate his deck. I also play full demonlock, it being my main ladder deck. I can get to rank 13 over the course of a season if I can get a good win streak, but the deck is otherwise too self destructive.
Lethal to the face to the faaaaace.

complaining about golden hunter 12+ months into the game on 3th day of ladder. TB can be a bit presumptious at times.
Why do I even watch TB play HS? I love the guy, but seriously. His just another personality doing something that's a trend but being terrible at it. Not hating, just a bit sad. At least Day9 has *some* skill.
Nevermind that he really enjoys it.... besides if he played just like everyone else instead of bad gimmicks then less people would care
Then stop watching? I enjoy his hearthstone videos the most.
TB isn't terrible at Hearthstone, he just plays bad decks. That's the point of playing gimmick decks; you don't expect to win, they are just for fun.
MadDany Like many people said, there's two ways of being famous on youtube/ twitch, extreme skill or fun and stupidity, TB is not bad at the game, but still not good enough to fit into the first category, that's why he chose the way of funny and dumb themed decks, which is fine for most

yeah but thats still not a rank for those players with net decks (maybe after reset). rank 20 should for those who only have basic cards
Attila Pataki true but my point is, those players play with good decks but don't have the skill to match them so they lose more often, they get stuck at lower ranks because they don't understand things or play around things. ***** I recently started playing constructed more, and I know that at least some of us are that rank just from the fact we have to grind for some good cards. A lot. So much grinding. XD

Mike B A basic deck has some chance against gimmicks, whereas they arent about to beat top tier netdeck hunter rush decks
Make more hearthstone videos
Nga Mai He doesn't make them. These are just copies of the player's streams.
I like TB but i couldn't care less for hearthstone. the amount of time he sacrifices for hs makes me sad. anyone else?
TB's plays are so bad... and he says his viewers don't know the game.
TB can be so arrogant but yet so bad at the same time... no wonder he never improves.
that boring ass deck totally f him up lol...
You mean in a way the player just a ass for playing a class so easy that a baby can play it yeah, that deck seriously powerful. Not salty just facts guy prob can't win with anything else but that class
Al sakamoto I agree it's a simple deck that is quite powerful but you seem VERY salty friendo.
Your music is loud and annoying
