Did you use any sort of lubricant for the threads? Did you make the tools yourself??

The tool for the locking ring I made out of a PVC adapter . The tool for the cap I bought from Stefanos :)

The white ring tool is made from a PVC pipe adapter , the Metal cap tool I bought from espressocare.com :)
