This wasn't just an album, this was a complete 48 minutes of experiencing the most ominous, disgusting, heavy and most demolishing sounds of my whole life. Each aong amazed me in every singke way, hitting like a Mega Nova shock wave and also making me ascend in a cloud of the most eldritch and unholy feelings. This was the most revolutionary way to improove into such an amazing genre like thall. Such music that I must listen like 20 times from beginning to end to truly appreciate such a masterpiece. This truly made me remember Masstaden Under Vatten from Vildhjarta (obviously, Buster is here completely rearranging my ear drums and nerves with his completely unique sound for thall) and all I can say is... This experiences that these bands makes you pass through are just a show of how to actually make progressive metal but also how to make "Music" to appeal the soul and to the feelings in one way or another. Album of the year and surely one of the best albums of this decade!

@@MoonDevouredhlb has them all topped mix wise at the moment i think, im hype for new releases from all of them, especially Coldblood, and of course Vildhjarta, and Indistinct will have a new album soon, No Oath also might have a new album around Christmas, this year is already awesome and its getting better 😍 in 2021 i think this happened where Vild, Indistinct, and No Oath all released an album around the same time, that was just the best experience ever being able to bounce between those three, i was listening to them all for like a year nonstop and still do pretty much every day :)
Actually I must say that this is more a representation of what is going on right now. The afterlife is very peaceful and will feel more like home than this.
Agreed , I listened to the full album twice in a row, because I couldn't quite "comprehend" I guess is the word the first time. This album is an experience quite like the way under water is. The only 2 albums I would call perfection, and that require listening beginning to end to get the full experience.
Best album 2023! The backward riffs and the half cutting hi-hat is groundbreaking. The hidden handclaps are fucking brilliant. Good jobb there! Thanks for the bonus track in the hidden part. Its the best song on the album.

@@Prof.Pwnalot I can say the game feels very polished, I played for a couple of hours and found no bugs yet. It's in much better state and is also cheaper than most of AAA games released this year. I want to remind that most big games this year were barely playable on realese date because of bugs and glitches. This is solid work but sure in two months it will be probably 10-20% cheaper because that's how industry works rn. I wanted to pay the full price because I want to support good studios.

This band keep improving. Getting more artistic with each album. The mix of pessimistic melody with bone crushing thall is something. Some of these tracks are evocative of Ulcerate in how dire and brooding they are. Withering, Linger, Instill, and the last two tracks are definite hot spots, showcasing the melodic lamentations mixed in with the jackhammer instrumentals. What many deathcore bands do is fine; just generally making unga-bunga music that’s fun to listen to, but HLB makes art. The fact that they haven’t been utilized in a filmscoring setting yet disappoints me. The last record was outstanding to me as well, but this one still tops it.
The production on this album is great! You guys really had a tight blend of atmospheric sludge and deathcore previously but the cinematic feel of this just locks it all in so hard.
