Just bought this game today and I was totally confused on what to do. I did play the demo months ago and it wasn’t too difficult. Looking for a literal beginners guide.
I love the concept but I just don’t see it working. This needs so much more development and an overhaul or two. I really hope this game does well, I’m just trying to be realistic
very helpful, would be better if video was a bit more organized into sections so i could come back and reference as i run into issues, but its exactly what i needed to start playing
If I continue with tutorials I will have to try structuring them better. This video was just a spur of the moment thing. But I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
Great breakdown and thanks for better helping to understand the editor. I was trying to find out how to add attachments, and was stumped until you explained the editor. The airfields let you build helicopter units (Max 3) that let you call in tocket strikes in a battle (up to 3). I plan to post on their community for improvement, (maybe you can to if you agree) but it really needs a seperate logistics tab that lets you track active movement of goods/equipment, search bar to find a good by city/division, and set up logistics by city. So if i have a bread city i can see total production/week then deduct from that as you send the bread to other locations (green/white/red to show transaction rate if you will). Right now i can send on a weekly but if i dont remember what i set it to, or im trying to feed multiple areas, unless i have a calculator i cant remember how much is going where. That would make this so much easier. Also set a priority to one city/division if resources grow sparse so the most important cities/units get what they need. Alot of this micromanaging could be fixed if, after initial setup, it auto dispenses until the resources stop, or you cancel/edit.
cool guide, doode, you're the only one explaining this game I just started playing :) Just a question, how does game decide what is the garrison of the location? Cause there is garrison even if your battalion is not in the city?
Yes the garrison is there without your battalion present. But you still need to build the garrison if there is not one present in your city already. You will also need manpower and supplies in the city all well to build garrisons.
Is there a way to condense this down as much as possible. The Lack of a native tutorial for the game makes it REALLY slow and sloggy to get into the game
In the diplomacy tab make sure to justify war then when that is finished declare war. It will take a couple days. Taking these steps will help with relations with other factions but they still will like you less than before the war. I've had the same issue with AI declaring war on me as well. Could just be the way they are programmed at the moment.
do beginners start witht the whole map conquered already? or why is the beginners guine on a fully conquered map? why make a tutorial this complicated and overwhelming by having everything on the screen and all the cities? just start a new game and explain how to start. because usually beginners are at the start of the game and not the end
Starting a new game is pretty straightforward. Pick your country and pick your settings. The only thing to keep in mind is each different political ideology has its own tech tree.
holy god. For a video labeled 'tutorial' you know surprisingly little about the game. If I'm watching your video to learn how to play and you keep saying 'i dont know what this is', then thats a real bad sign. Also, some people are naturally good communicators and can just speak off the cuff. You are not one of those people. Write a script and follow it. And for gods sake learn how to edit your video. This doesn't need to be 40 mins long because you're constantly searching around the place for something every 20 seconds.

Hope the video helps!
My first game or two I was really into starving my people
Feed the people! Haha
Just give them cake!
First game went well until the people didn't have enough cigarettes and vodka
Same 😂

It is still in early access and being updated regularly. But you are right, the game needs some work for it to go from good to great.

Production is done in hours so 500 hours to make a LAV or 120 hours to make rifles ie. 5days for rifles and 20 days for apc /lav
Good to know!

I'm glad the video helped! All those are great ideas!
I just want this game mechanics in Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
Thanks for the tips man this game just drops you in there thinking you know everything 😂
Glad the video helped! Good luck on your campaigns!
Exactly what I needed!!!, thanks 🙏
Hope the video helps!
Great tutorial. Just bought the game. Haven't tried it yet, but I assume things will not be that confusing initially.
I'm glad the video was able to help you start your first campaign!
Yeah, ammunition used to use copper instead of iron.
Thanks for making this, really interested in this game, gonna get it on sale 👍
Hope you enjoy it!
Thig game really needs some tutorial missions onboard.
Hopefully on the full release version.
How to turn iron ore into iron?

this is cool im hyped for this game
Nice! Hope you enjoy the video.

If I do another tutorial I will add timestamps and streamline the information.
@@ImpactEasy
Thanks
How do you keep control of the settlements. Mine are fed well and filled with police?
Try tobacco and alcohol as well. Stability seems to be very difficult to sustain especially if you are expanding rapidly.
Is there a decent way to compare weapons?
No official stats for the weapons. Trial and error mostly.
@@ImpactEasy That's really frustrating. :(
"I have only played a democracy" fuck yea brother. Semper fi do or die!!!
👍
How to start a war without everyone denouncing their non-aggression treaty and ganging up on you?
In the diplomacy tab make sure to justify war then when that is finished declare war. It will take a couple days. @@ImpactEasy thank you
You should add a time line or add the different sections in the comment section.
Thank you for the feedback. I can definitely add time stamps to this video.
Please timestamp the tutorial next time, i have to scroll through to find out what section i want to learn more about
I will definitely.
said iron when it was oil =)
Whoops 🤭
@ImpactEasy np man thanks for your video it helped me out I just brought the game so I was super confused as there is little help in-game atm
I hope this game gets some more updates lol
Seems like the developers are pretty active. Hopefully that will continue 🤞
This game is good fun but it’s a freakin mess they should take more tips from freeman guerrilla warfare the strategy mode for that was better
It still needs work. Hopefully by full release the game will shine.

why make a tutorial this complicated and overwhelming by having everything on the screen and all the cities? just start a new game and explain how to start. because usually beginners are at the start of the game and not the end
Hopefully you were still able to take away something useful from the video.
Why show a tutorial mid game, how to start is more important!
Starting a new game is pretty straightforward. Pick your country and pick your settings. The only thing to keep in mind is each different political ideology has its own tech tree.
Thank you for showing everyone how ridiculously and unnecessarily over complicated this game is. It’s not worth it, even with multiple discounts
Fair enough

In that case I don't think my 4 hour long updated tutorial video will be up your alley then.
