if you're going to yank the rear subframe out, be prepared for a day of work cutting bushings out with reciprocating saw, maybe burning them out, painting and then installing a full arm kit being mindful of how the bolts go in when the frame is in car! my subframe was "done" before me so the bolts were backwards and i couldnt take the arms out since the bolts hit the body of car lol. so i took frame out and did it black with gktech Everything. i love it. it is so worth it guys it is so tight now
Another masterclass keep it up!! Also funny story, i live in a small town in canada and i met another car guy there and ended up talking about your miata vids! (Cuz thats how i found you) and to me and this guy you're the goat of the miata youtube game! Also you made me buy the same shifter for the miata and this shit crazy!! Hope to see u pop back on youtube notification soon:)
Amazing video guys! I was actually thinking about doing this to my miata, now I'm glad I saw how easy it is! 😁 Thanks a lot and keep it up! Depending how bad the clutch is, the differential route sounds nice hehe
Thanks dude! Yeah super easy, same with exact concept on the Miata! Unfortunately the clutch seems to be getting worse tons of chatter so it’s looking like we might have to drop the trans sooner than we thought
upgrade clutch disk n pressure plate then weld diff till lsd if u that stressing it fam otherwise open diff is good for a daily just not fun lol ... peace and love yal keep it rad stay safe and build on ... peace
Do you guys plan on drifting this car? That would help narrow down what LSD you guys should purchase. Also, just a thought. If the clutch is old then by all means replace it, however if you know you plan on adding more power to the car soon, then maybe hold off so that way you know which stage clutch to purchase. If that makes sense.
So honestly, I have been looking at a different chassis so that we can actually have a dedicated car to beat the crap out of lol the 240 will be a streetable Daily once complete
@@SpiritDriven for street use yes. Not because it’s a bad diff, but for two reasons. 1.because of HOW it operates 2. You’re most likely never going to be driving hard enough to even need it.
ahhhh ok so you could've used your long line, it just replaces the whole hardline and runs underneath engine to clean up the firewall. but now i see someone was under there already and had bent it back to bypass dampener.. strange. hope you can get your money back for long line then
@@SpiritDriven the long line goes into the master, and then you route it under the engine and then into the slave directly, assuming it’s the 53’ one. i did this to my hatch, and have a second one from isr for my vert. i like a clean firewall so i chose it and braided brake lines that also run beneath.
So you know the word Clevice but you don't know the difference between caustic or corrosive? ( caustic is the next danger level above corrosion.) XD XD im just bullying you Sal. no i wont sell Goldie.
Like the format with you 2 introducing yourselves at the beginning 👍🏻.
Tryin to shake it up a lil bit 😁🙏🏼
Clutch job would be sick to see … since y’all tend to do very informative videos and it’s always good to learn some tasks lol
I’m leaning more towards clutch too 👍🏼👍🏼
@@SpiritDriven if youre going turbo on this ka, i like my competition clutch, "white bunny"
@@parkd240 that’s the exact one I’m lookin at!
Yeah worth it for the price i had one on my sr over 300hp no issues clutch pedal felt like stock
@@kamiljanczur8513 that’s exactly what I wanted to hear!!

Dude what that’s insane! Lmao
Appreciate it dude.
I hope so too
Going to get the Miata back up and running very soon. (Needs to pass smog lol)
Clutch stuff! The diff is gonna be a reward for getting the car that far. Don't skip the clutch.
Fatherly advice
5:33 sal already beat me to it
Awh! It's my favorites! Alina and the 240sx! Sal is cute too tho..

@@SpiritDriven well then if you want a LSD that’s streetable, maybe look into a VLSD from a z32 or J30 or a quaife helical lsd.

Any updates on the chevy silverado?

Ever have a link for that shorter gktek line?
Go solid rear bushings and weld the diff.
Do the solid bushings make the ride rough ?
@@SpiritDriven yes, it's going to make the ride quality a bit more stiff.
The fact that she's doing it with nails done is tuff

No issues returning it
And honestly man I’m not entirely sure if the line completely deletes the hardline
Kind of confusing
