I really felt this song! It seems as if the man messed up, got divorced and missing his kids. That's the vibe I get from it. So much love and sadness in it. It's never too late to apologize and make amends.
I honestly think this was very well done. The voice isnt a concern at all, simply because, it is very difficult to produce that James Earl Jones deepness, especially whilst singing. The context here is what matters, and I think you captured it perfectly. Not a lot of people know that Vader truly hated himself more than anything, but in the end loved his children more than anything. The fact that you represented that beautifully leaves me with nothing but praise for this song . Well done sir, keep them coming.

The thing that gets to me is that, by the end of the Return of the Jedi, this song is pretty much canon. It's not really a parody. Vader chose his children over the Emperor. And died for it. He stood at the pricepice of evil and jump down it's belly. Then he faught his way up again, only to die right outside it's gates, yet free.
I mean, it starts funny. You laugh. Think it's funny. Vader being sad and regretful. It's funny. But it's long enough for the laughs to quiet down and the thinking to start. I remember. The outpouring of pain and emotion in the comments was, well don’t have words…. I’m not sure the musician intended it to be that way, and I think the song has maybe changed a bit since then…. But it really touched something in so many people…. so much pain….
just goes to show that vader was not a villan just a tragic hero who was lead down the wrong path poor anakin he was just a man who wanted to save his wife and be a loving father yet the jedi expected to much of him Sidious saw him as a tool in his selfish quest for power and he was terrified that his wife would die in childbirth and seeked out a way to save her. and everything he had done had gone wrong and it had left him tormented by he jedi he had killed and also haunted by the visions of his dead wife truly he was just a broken man in suffering so glad he finally made the rigt decision in the end.
How does this have less views than "Hello (from the Dark Side)"? This is so much better and well made. Like, everything about this, its just the best SW parody. I love your Wrecking Maul one too, but this is even a 1000% better than that.
