For Tubi to be a free streaming service they come up with some pretty decent movies to watch. Better than Netflix. The thing I hate about Netflix is that they keep the same movies and shows on for months and you never can find a good variety. This was a good movie! Kind of predictable! *SPOILER** Maybe he should have tried to speak to his wife instead of assuming, because those photos meant nothing..there weren’t any comprising photos at all…and the investigator knew that! I actually thought the hit man was a cop though, lol. 😂
You couldn’t even see a face in those photos. This guy kept everything bottled inside, and ASSUMED his best friend was having an affair with the wife even before hiring the PD. He could’ve spoke to wife and friend. All of this could’ve been avoided had he confronted his wife with the photos. I did not feel sorry for him, but I kinda did. Mixed emotions, I was angry at him for not speaking up ugh 🤦🏾♀️
That's what annoyed me the most. Dude didn't have ANY. THING. concrete and he called the investigation off early. Wtf? It kinda seemed lazy on the writer's part. There's so many more convincing ways to setup a mistaken affair. Also all those weeks of planning for a catered office party? In the end I concluded they were fuckin for real lol. So damn annoying! 😂😂
Omg that third act ending was powerful and scary and also sad smh that why you gotta be cautious and mindful of the things you do but overall a very good movie
Sorry. I wanted to like this movie but it doesn't take weeks of planning behind somebody's back to have a simple surprise party at a bar/restaurant. Also..............Getting the plane tickets would've taken all of 5 minutes to buy online. And at the end..... he acts as if he totally forgot he paid a hit man to kill his best friend....until the text came. In real life you'd be freaking out the moment you realized it was a surprise party. You'd be running/driving around looking for your best friend....you'd leave that party instantly.
I think he was so taken a back by his wife throwing him a party he did forget. However, he remembered the hit before he got that text. When his wife was telling him about the tickets to Hawaii is when he remembered. That’s why he kept calling him over and over again, and when he finally did reach him, he was relieved that his friend was still alive, which was why he told him he loved him.

It was kind of cute for me. The writers surprised the heck out of me. All my deducting never figured on the ending. Great title "Surprise;" the surprise was definitely on me. I loved it and plan to watch it again. It was like reading a good novel you would read twice.
If we could figure out soon that a surprise party was the secret, David should have realized it too 🤔. I know, it's dramatic irony. Overreacting to being cheated on is never a good thing. He gambled (play on his last name) and lost.

Great acting, great production, great lighting, sucky endings! Both left me hanging. If there is gonna be a part 3 I won't watch it because now I'm leery about how that one will end. Too bad. To me These movies could been so much greater if they had ended better. 3 out of 5 stars

The ending was 🚮 made me hate the whole movie. Should of waited for his best friend to pull up outside then soon as they greeted each other he spot the hitman and jumped in front of the bullet then the hirman runs off or something interesting 🤦♀️ they need me writing 🤦♀️🤣

No unnecessary explicit sex scenes or over the top violence. Just really good story telling. I actually liked the ending.....4 out of 5 for me.
