As a Jason main, everyone is a threat.
lol I feel ya... I love playing Jason, but the disadvantage is real... good thing he's pretty fun even when you lose
I switched from Jason to joker but the first 5 days I stayed on all day sweating Jason. I just played him again yesterday n he’s still a big target. I hate they made him so damn huge to where he moves hella slow lol they know he was gonna be broken in the game but if u actually learn him and learn to be a little patient with your moves he can be deadly. If ur in the air against him he can literally kill at like 40-50 and it’s insane

As a batman player, I think he’s in a great spot and more characters should aim to feel how he does. His hitboxes are super accurate, he doesn’t have lingering hitboxes, and his one hit KO power isn’t insane. Skill expression shows with Batman.
The only 'lingering hitbox' he has is his air down special but that's actually supposed to be a lingering hitbox so it makes sense.

He has decent kill power a projectile that can give u like what 5 weakened stacks and a low profile move. As a black Adam player I hate Batman’s
@@bbburrs The batarang only applies max 3 weakened stacks and that's based on it being a hit while it's returning to Batman while having the bouncerang perk equipped.

Yknow, Morty is one of those characters where I feel like I just get hit by stuff and have absolutely 0 idea what happened. Him and Stripe are like that for me
It's like I'm being attacked by ghosts, their hitboxes too mysterious to comprehend lol
I have no idea how to deal with earth attack, he blocks approaches so easily, and then he kills you with up air. I just don't know the counter play, especially as Marvin and Taz main.
Yeah stripe literally fcking explodes and flies across the entire map and when he gets close it’s just a mess I can’t even tell what he’s doing. His move set is very overwhelming lol

Saying Harley feels “really bad” blew my mind. I still run into nonstop Harley. We are having drastically different experiences lol
Harley defs feels clunkier and can struggle to kill at times without a set up.
But I mean, she can still do good damage. Just not through the same string of Sair, Dtilt, Utilt, Sair, Uair (rinse repeat)
Harley is a weird character and with the changes it does feel harder to even get your combo started that being said it also feels really good when you do get these combos off , She lacks range and can't really kill without setup however she does have a couple moves that carry her kit and also her low weight does give you alot of moments where your like how did that kill ?

It genuinely shocked me how Jake fell from one of the best characters in Multiversus to borderline being unusable after the rerelease
And I’m thankful for that a Jake meta is a bad meta

Jake, Jason, LeBron, Velma, need buff more than anyone.
Joker has EVERYTHING except armor, my opinion best character in game.
I play Jason so I want to get this off my chest. He doesn’t feel like a tank. His hurtboxs are hilariously awful like his hurtbox extends above his bed up attack like wth?! His hitboxs are also bad, you can fast fall sair and it can be whiffed on characters right on target.
His end lag on some moves are way unnecessary like his dash and down special bag.
His neutral special is laughable as a fully charged grey health can be swiped away by a single sair from banana guard .
The boy is slow and strong but he NEEDS tweaking. He needs a “buff” in that way not damage.

I got trapped between a hard place and a spinning bugs... he's definitely getting nerfed. He's infinite still works nicely
25:24 Superman also has the Jason problem of having a huge body and being rather slow, which makes it easy to punish him if you dodge his attacks. He's of course way better than Jason, but many assassin characters can just majorly overwhelm him.
I’ve played a lot of garnet, unless the one buff to make her really strong is just add hyper armor, idk what buff that’s supposed to be. Garnet wasn’t ever considered really strong nor even close to it, yet she had tools taken from her that she had in beta that made sense, and shifts in power in her moveset, some of which just don’t make sense to be as strong or weak. I personally feel like they don’t know what they wanna do with garnet because she’s always had to work harder to get what other chars get way easier. It’s still fun making her work but sometimes the weaknesses really shine and if I can’t land a clutch parry or catch them auto piloting somewhere, it can feel close to hopeless at times and even then unless they’re really high percent or I parried on the ground, there just isn’t much knock back on her moves, and the ones that do have it require more setup. Sorry so long as

I hope he gets no nerfs or buffs.
One buff I’ll take though is make the smoke bomb effect happen instantly, I think that would be more lore accurate and wouldn’t make it to over powered anyway.
Someone throws a projectile and at the last second he throws a smoke gernade and vanishes, your opponent thinks it’s about to hit Batman but next thing you know it goes right through him.
Tell me that’s not a very Batman thing to happen.

How do you think they’re going to save their player base? I’m not fully worried yet but they do need ranked out.

I think this has been an amazing tier list. The only thing I've been struggling in this game has been some hitboxes that doesn't make sense and The survivability of tank characters cuz I've been struggling with those characters and some assassin characters
As a Jake main it sucks that his skateboard move was nerfed to the ground. Also some new moves or power/speed adjustments would be nice. 🥲

Jason is such a monster in 2v2. It’s so great
IG has a lot of survivability and i've been consistently living until 200, top that with him being one of the best users of last stand and he becomes so much more of a problem, some ideas for nerfs would definitely be making him significantly lighter, increasing the cooldown on the burst and making rage take longer to build up, his combo game should stay the same but the tools that gives him access to his combos should be more punishing if he wastes them, also bit of a smaller annoyance but sometimes when you parry with IG he uses his burst at the same time he parries so because of that it makes punishes that would have otherwise been good get screwed over, and it's not consistent when it happens because sometimes it will not do it when it's off CD
I am a Finn main and got really into Jason.
I see Jason has potential but he's so slow and if you want to combo, take a stock, or reach far off opponents there is a heavy reliance on air down special.
There were so many characters that could camp Jason and his ground neutral special does not do enough to protect him sometimes.
If they gave the end of side special a hit box or faster reaction out of side special he could be able to reduce the problems I stated with campers.
Jason is the Ganondorf of multiverses.
Tom has some bugs right now, his mallet disappears and he’ll throw out tennis balls instead of jerry sometimes even tho he’s in his hands.
I been saying they need to nerf WW because she is the most broken character in the game I struggle with her more than any other character.
I would add bugs bunny, shaggy and most definitely banana guard they are such a pain in the ass to deal with

Most of it is just fighting disjointed characters, this game doesnt have a flurry of options to deal with that.

Jake is the multiverse version of dhalsim and Rose from street fighter had a baby without the fireball projectiles. He isn't weak at all you just need to know how and when to do certain moves. I know Jake's strengths and weaknesses are new to some people and when ranked matches are open for the community, Jake is going to change your tier list chart
I see that you’ve played all these other characters but no videos about them. I love the Stripe, Jake and Arya gameplay, where’s the others? Love the content btw!
I must be trash tier cause I'm still winning many 1v1s with Velma, and I frequently carry in 2s. It does suck that my two favs from beta are Velma and Jake. But I'll cling to hope that they'll be meta someday
Finn is in a tough spot imo. As Finn is strong but he has to work hard to get his kills if he doesn't rob you. And if he robs you he had to hard punish you on a major mistake or get a crazy read.
Honestly, if they gave Velma back her old megaphone back and fixed the hitbox on her up-tilt, she would be good. She had an actual kit in the last game and they took that away from her becayse they were scared of how she was in the previous beta. Because I don't know what they were thinking with the megaphone she has now.
her megaphone is not bad rn. you just need to use it differently. they could add the option to angle it how you want tho. they do gotta fix her up-tilt hitbox tho. my fear is that theyre gonna over buff her and she’ll be broken again. im COOKING people with her rn. the problem is ppl are trying to play her like beta velma when in reality, shes a totally new character.
@@mintfloss15hard agree on megaphone it's as balanced as it can be rn, maybe a little buff on the base charge but her megaphone is still her best part of her kit
Taz Up Followup from Bite kills pretty nicely for vertical after some chewing
Totally understand the joker needing a nerf, but you need to take in consideration the time to grind(or pay) to get him vs the other cast
I think taz is top 5 imo, his normals are fast and strong, combo well, his movement is crazy, and his cooldowns are actually broken especially after buffs

Can you do a guide on how to play 2s? Cus I’ve mainly been playing 1s and my win rate is pretty high but when it comes to 2s I don’t do good at all
Value your life, gang up on one opponent and don't let the other team gang up on your teammate. Those would be my 3 best tips
Also if an opponent is running away because he's at high percent, focus on the other guy. It'll either allow you to gang up on the other guy for free or bait the first guy to throw out a move to prevent that.
As an Iron Giant main, my character exists again, so I can annoy my friends more. Suuuupermaaan
tier list right before the huge balancing update? this list will be disregarded in exactly 3 days
When I did 2v2 I had a Velma on my team and that was one of the few times i yelled at my tv, because i felt the Velma wasn’t doing ANYTHING 😂.

When do you think they will fix the electrified hands for Black Adam? Can't seem to get any shocked debuff off on Black Adam without using the perk that only applies shocked to his projectiles.
I will always advocate for Marvin in strong tier, this character just throws so much at you. He's not op, but character with this much creativity will always suprise you with something.
His projectiles last forever but if you so much as TOUCH them with a dodge they are completely disengaged for the entirety of their spawn time, this includes anytime you reverse the projectiles as well. On top of this, his jab just straight up does not work on someone who dis out which forces you to abuse down attack or jab x2 into side special in the air which doesn't net you much. Give that opportunity to any other character and they would just kill you sub 60
The amount of times I had to argue with noobs about bananas ceiling being too low to be broken.
finn is ok but if they gave him back gem (ONLY IN A PERK) then he would be better and still balanced
Finn feels like he has to commit so much more for something that may land but probably won't so then he gets back to stage in disadvantage instead of resetting to neutral like when he had gym
Interesting idea to add gym as a perk hopefully if they do that they make his down special usable cause it's almost useless right now
I don't think gem should come back at all. It overshadowed his shop for the most part and gave way too much mobility to an already fast character.

@@brogan294 but doesn’t the store still give just about the same amount of movement? you can literally buy boots of speed 3 to 4 times in a match in practical fashion and he’s already fast like you said so idk if that should be the reason why it doenst come back and once again if it’s in a perk then you’d still have decisions to make do i want gem for mobility and set ups or do i want strength of backpack or do i want store discount
we could get a lot of player expression with this buff imo but i know gem annoyed a lot of ppl in the beta..
When is the next major multiversus update?
Multiversus needs to do what Smash Ultimate did which was scale damage different for 1vs1 and 2vs2's. It would take alot of effort on their part but I think it would immensly help.
The only thing i would disagree with is marvin he is incredibly strong once you really learn him 0 to 50 or 60 combos with damage perks he can kill some characters at 80 to 100 he can break ww armor moves he can redirect bugs safe and rocket he can instantly kill safe and he can capture jokers and batmans projectile on top of that his edge guard is insane with his auto combo redirect you should play him more honestly
Joker is a hybrid between all classes, listed as mage, let me complete a challenge as assassin and lives until 200 like a tank. It's ridiculous
I feel like Joker should be assassin and Marvin should be switched to Mage.

I absolutely love playing lebron, he's one of my favorite platform fighter moveset designs ever, but yeah he sucks. His hit confirm combos are all super easy to di out of.
Lebron without a ball is such complete ass, I genuinely think he is the worst character in the game without ball. I tried out velma after playing lebron and she felt stronger than no ball lebron. Basically only his side air and side air special are worth using on no ball lebron. Like, I get the design idea of no ball lebron being a downgrade from ballbron, but the problem with no ball lebron being so abysmally bad is it prevents taking risks, I've ended up trying to never throw a ball without the having the ball re-summon on cooldown, it just feels bad.
He also suffers from some super bad match-ups against some of the scariest threats, Morty vs Lebron is an absolute wash, his balls all get destroyed by mortys wall so he can't get setups so half your kit is missing. Lebron vs Gizmo just feels atrocious, just because gizmo is so small it really shows how bad some of Lebrons combo consistency is with his hitboxes, seriously like his entire combo game goes down the toilet against Gizmo.
He does have some fantastic matchups though, even against the scariest characters. His balls are super good in the Iron Giant matchup, and his neutral air special is super good into that matchup as well. All of his combo game works on batman and batman is really light so you can get some ridiculously low percent kills on him comboing into his super good up air.
That being said, his biggest enemy is the stage you are on, any stage where there is a lot of platform coverage his setup game dies. While morty can kill his balls with wall, nothing is more deadly to his game than the dexters lab level in 1's. I really wish he wasn't so unbelievably stage dependent, it's similar to velmas word bubbles dissappearing on platforms as well.
He does have a genuinely great spike and his vertical kill pressure is actually fantastic because his up air is so good. His combo game feels amazing when it works. He even has a 0 to death with air-walker if your opponent DI's wrong. Neutral air special is great.
For now, the only changes I would suggest for him are to somehow make his balls pass through platforms and tighten up some of his hitbox consistency for his combo game so it's a little less character size dependent. I think it's okay for him to have his bad range and slow speed since when you have the ball setup game going that is how you open up opponents in neutral rather than through traditional pokes. It's just a real problem when lebron can't play his moveset the way it was designed. Maybe bring up the power on some of the worst moves on no ball lebron just so it's a bit less risky to have no ball.
As a rick main, I can confirm that my brain power is completely gone after playing as him all day

But one thing i have to say is its sad that jake is the worst because at least to me hes one of the most fun
It would help lebron to have his ball bounce back to his direction after impact when he does the regular pass
Mained reindog and was top 100 in beta and idc what anyone says he feels like trash just because of the slower speed in the game. Decided to drop him.
Picked up harley in launch and she felt great. Loved the combos. They gutted her in that one patch like 2 weeks ago or something. Can't even combo side air into down attack anymore. No kill confirms from up attack either. Literally stripped her identity. An assassin with 0 combos lmao. Dropped her too.
Now im a bugs main. If they gut him on monday this game is getting deleted lol. Youll lose a lot of players. Ruined all of my mains and bugs is hella fun. Be smart PFG

I quit until jason gets something. I feel like everyone else is the slasher and im the one who needs to be careful against anything 😭😭😭 half the time air particles are hurting me not even the moves my opponents are doing. Please please either buff his moves or his hitbox

I want them to significantly nerf the kill power of skateboard on Stripe and then make both of his side special jump cancellable
Joker is just straight up so overpowered. The neutral true combo is so stupid he can just 0 you to death at the start of the match, the dodge window is so low you have to get that 1 frame dodge to avoid him. Not to talk about the damn cards, those things are impossible to avoid, they get you off guard like 95% of the time, and worst part if this mf has luck, he trows the big card and you are KO at 50~
Also he can just destroy any projectile with the water spray move, like bugs bunny projectiles are useless against him

As a stripe player I agree. I feel like I get beat out by so much armor even when I’m baiting out options.
@Devion702 yup, pretty much every mive/projectile beats out saw blade, chainsaw takes 50 years to come out. TNT is good but as a suicide play or snipe. Pistol is the only clutch but only 3 reloadable bullets and they can dodge. But apparently he's "top tier"😭
As a Harley main who for real quit after the nerfs... all I can think about us after the nerfs how Hbox described 2 Fins fighting as frogs in a pond...
Every fucking harley fight now either feels like I'm playing a touch of death or a floating frog battle. She is still stronger than you rated her and I can show that off but its just objectively a fishing game not a platform fighter
Also when I say "it's objectively a fishing game" Harley is great a fishing it's not a detriment to the character it's just not why I came to multiversus
Idk why they changed IG to this extent his armor in the OB was fine multi hitting moves nullified it..

Totally agree on Jake... lots of fun in 2s but you really gotta read distances perfectly and use the bite well or you're just getting roasted

I would actually put stripe as a main threat. I main rick and it's stupid to get hit by his kick combo up and out at 50 percent. His kill confirms are just too strong
I feel the same with Morty I think that Morty is A and that void is just really good
I was a practically exclusive one trick Harley main in the beta and originally on relaunch- but I switched to Iron Giant and I like playing him in 1v1s so much that I even changed my name in game to reflect that hes my main. He is difficult and is very easily combo food without reads, but he definitely has a unique play style that really grew on me since the game slowed down from the beta.
What about the 1 month 3 day tier list?

Double Superman comps are strong. They infinite if they side jab lock you into each other.

Hahaha, ty for reminding me about this game. Im pretty sure i fiended week 1 then once the stevens appeared i couldnt stop feeling useless against them and never opened the game again
Arya and joker good ones and two but they carry if you know how to and iron giant should be low F teir due to big hit box easy to get combo off and honestly it just a fun to beat on him 😂

What 0 to death does Finn have
Everyone talks about Marvin but no one plays him. There’s no videos about him on RUclips they don’t really know how he is. He has tools, multiple, but others have better and “SAFER” options his cooldowns are too long
@@imaflyinturkey9775bruh the leader board event is just you and like 10-20 other random jabronies who queued at the same time as you lol. Also his projectiles are way too easily disengaged for how slow they are, and the fact that reversing them doesn't make them active again (if you dodge batarang, it becomes active again on return) is kinda bummed. His disjoints are cool but you often use those moves A LOT just to contend with certain characters so those same disjoint are often kind of staled
SuperMan needs buffs. Or at least just let me grab throw upwards. Give me something, its hard out here for a Superman

The only thing thats annoying me in this game is just how projectiles just say hey run away and not play the game i could just fight you as morty but like the projectiles are just far to good so its like im playing call of duty which imo isnt good

But I have no idea why they got rid of the armor with her moves and she does still need help, maybe give her just a tad more reach with her attack and give her armor back, I think thats all she needs tbh
Now Jason UGHHH His machete DEFINITELY needs to have more reach, I've had so many times where I'd see my machete go right through enemies and nothing happens. He needs to be able to move faster right after he teleports, like reading a teleport is good and it deserves to be punished, but if I teleport behind an opponent and they don't expect it but are able to turn around and attack me before I can even move is CRAZY. He needs more speed in a game where everyone is moving, just a bit more speed would be nice ESPECIALLY since he has no projectiles at all to get in. And dammit I get as a tank he needs to have some attacks that has a bit of recovery after but THE SLEEPING BAG MAN! WHY DOES IT TAKE FOREVER TO RECOVER!?!?
And finally his ground neutral, It's supposed to be a move that gives him armor, more speed, and strength but it doesn't last long enough to really be all that useful. Either give it more grey health like 35? Maybe 40? or make it so that it doesn't go away with 1 attack. Maybe 3 attacks? Or better yet make it so attacks doesn't remove the temporary buff at all.
1 of those two for the ground neutral would be nice both would be amazing but I'm not tryna make Jason Top tier just want him to not fucking suck 😂😂. I got like 150+ wins with him and been moonwalking on almost everyone I beat now so he can win matches but he struggles so much. Like I have to be REALLY focusing to get those wins, or get lucky with MOJO jojo.
Also I just wanna say my favorite match up in multiversus for my main in "Garnet vs WonderWoman"
Idk why but every single time I'm playing as Garnet and going against Wonderwoman against good players the match is always close and it's so fire! I get so excited seeing a wonder woman as Garnet.
