Thanks! Still had a couple deaths a few days later but I believe it’s just fallout from the initial issue.

Did you just take a plastic container, poke holes in it and feed the air stone through with the activated carbon?

There are holes in the bottom of the container and and the lid. I made a short on how to construct it 😊

Seachem Purigen did the trick for me when i had a problem with some unknown chemical(deodorant?) in my tank.
Always a little hesitant to add activated carbon since it also removes the good stuff not just the bad.

I am not a fan of Carbon long term. I feel in a pinch it is a great thing to have but should only be ran in a tank to remove meds or contaminants.
I wouldn’t add it to my filters long term.

So I need to watch another video after watching this video on how to make the filter when this video is titled "diy carbon filter"😑

Could be worse: I could have not showed how to make it at all 😂 I did the DIY build video first and found it wasn’t that informative so I made this video after.

@@Cute__Noob no worries! I’ve been making videos for years. Comments don’t both me. This filter was pretty easy to construct with household stuff. Was a nice little build
