I have a similar form-factor no-brand multimeter, but what I like about yours is the CT clamp. Just this week we were trying to take readings using traditional clamps whose jaws were too big to get them into position. A shame it won't fit in the case with the red probe on - I too would want to keep that fitted, although I rarely use cases. I'd also prefer the tips to have detachable shrouds as GS38 doesn't always get where you want it to reach. RS says it has current measurement at 0.01A resolution on the 500mA range, so it could be used for tracing earth leakage trips at a push. All in all, a nice instrument. I'd take that up the arse over the Fluke T5!

    Love the CT loop!
Martindale leads also are crazy soft and flexible!

I do like the look of that test. It will be good to see you using it in your day to day job. Can you also do some videos on harmonics

i too am in the same boat as you. im sure its brillent but it just doesnt float ones boat. the price it quite high and the red probe length i think its a bit too short. but it might grow on me over time.

How are you getting on with the CA 757 after a few months? I still have the T5 600 like yours but the fork is a pita in most situations, the flexi clamp looks ideal.
