Perfect example of how important good movement/strafing is. The Sombra had a crap strafe, kept being predictable and jumping. They got headshot constantly as a result. The Mei on the other hand had a tricky strafe and as such didn't die when fighting.
a long time hanzo player here. After watching your videos I took a chance so its the first time since launch that I actually play hanzo in quickplay. I noticed that in quickplay if you win too many matches in a row they will force you to lose by dropping you in as backfill for a losing game which is the most common. but the newest one is they throw you into a 3 vs 5 match. 2 dps 1 support.
Tbh I disagree, the way Hanzo works luck is a dominating factor all the time. Otherwise pro players would have mastered him in OWL while he was NEVER used. For example Arrge keeps saying in his aim guide to predict movement and that doesn't work in lower ranks where people don't move well. In his rank people are always reaching for cover while in plat someone might just stand in the open strafing for ever and even he can't hit those by his own word

I'm starting to think that the reason so many people complain about Hanzo is that he's not twitch-aim or full-tracking based; he's all about prediction and angles. Sure, the skill floor lets you get away with spamming angles up to a certain point, but the highest level of Hanzo requires prediction and game sense. Cue FPS gamer bros raging at characters that get value outside of flick aiming.

The only way to fix it, is to get rid of the one shot headshot, or to lower projectile speed to 1/2 or 2/3 of the current speed. And yeah, sonic arrow has to go, and it has to go fast. Give him an ability to shoot arrows that do higher damage instead. Like heavy arrows or something, for 1 or 2 shots for say a damage increase if 25% with a cooldown of 18 seconds. Replace storm arrows with an ability to load 3 arrows at once into his bow, so you have a spread shot, something like Genjis secondary. Of you need to make him a bit stronger, you can allow him to load 3 arrows twice.

Nothing wrong with your aim. But i do have to state this: Hanzo is an OP character. Especially when it comes down to solo plays. Why? Hes a 1 shot character, just like widow. A soldier 76 player, doesn't do the amount of damage other character (dps wise) does. For instance, if you play anything around 50 ping. It's basically a feed off to hanzo. Why? Because Overwatch isn't always about "Skills" it involves connection skills too. I know a lot of you have experienced this before. But ping is king. No matter what pro players says that is bullcrap. Imagine racing with a Ferrari against a Ferrari, but the other Ferrari has some delay in acceleration speed, it's obvious that if the 2s are professionally known for what they do every meter and milisecond matters. So nonetheless, the real pro scenary stands in LAN Games and not Online.
A soldier needs like 6 bullets and one helix rocket to do what a Hanzo does and it takes about the same amount of time with less aim. The only thing is that Hanzo can keep doing it.
