Absolutely LOVE your Christmas village! I did something similar, but I painted the buildings with a shiny, silver metallic spray paint. It really shows off the texture of the bricks and shingles. Each year, I scatter them in a different place.

The village looked so special. That project was my favorite, but I did really like the plastic lantern transformation as well. The matte black with the gold edging was such an upgrade. From cheap looking red and green plastic to mimicking wrought iron instead. Loved that idea!

I made the lanterns this year painting them white instead of black they are super cute! U can take top of lantern off to tape off the tea light candle & paint inside better🥰

There is no way to pick a favorite for me. They are all beautiful!! I can't believe how good the lanterns look. That black spray paint and that gold really transformed them. Simply beautiful!! ❤

Love #1 (I wonder if there's white Velcro, or the Command Hooks, that you could put under the buildings), and #4 (I really enjoy lanterns). I liked #2, also. Great job on all of your crafts.

Just a helpful tip, im pretty sure the tops on the lanterns pop off so it would be easier to paint. Love all of these!
Actually I think on the bottom the candle part pops out.

Am I missing something? You spray painted the village but when you showed it lit up, it was unpainted???

It was painted lit up, because I only misted it and when the lights are on you can see the colors come through the paint. Hope that makes sense❤️
