One thing about south Africans when it comes to music, they pour out their hearts, they sing with all their emotions and not for business only. Am Zambian but I love their music.

@@avuyilemsaliswa31 Unfortunately our Ndebele is quite close to Zulu... I don't even need subtitles for the likes of Uzalo lol. We understand Zulu and some bits of Xhosa quite easily... Much love hey.
It's like how it was with towards the advent of democracy in SA, we suddenly were exposed to the likes of Fela Kuti, Angelique Kidjou, Salif Keita, Papa Wemba and more...we didn't understand a word of what they were singing because we were used to South African, European and American artists, but the African soul made us connect...hopefully this signifies the fulfilment of the Pan African dream...
I am Nigerian and I have no clue what they are saying, but there is something spiritual about this song, something powerful, beautiful and victorious . Something you listen to after the battles have been fought and the war won. I visualise a hero, not just any made up hero...... I visualise shaka Zulu with his sphere and shield , with his perfect trimmed and cut body standing at the top of the mountains after victory has been taken and then this song playing. I stand on what I say ....SOUTH AFRICANS make the BEST SONGS on the planet !!!
On behalf of all unemployed youth and all young entrepreneurs hustling in Botswana 🇧🇼 and other African countries I approve.. stay strong we will get there my people✊💪☺️🙏 what a tune 🔥
I love this song, as a British Jamaican it's like food to my soul. 🇯🇲 I don't need to understand the words I feel the connection and the vibration through the music. Amazing....
In my 16 months stay in KwaDlangezwa , University of Zululand, KZN in the Republic of South Africa from the Republic of Ghana saw me dance out all my steps to this demonstration of the African heritage. Thumbs up.
yea sometimes you don't have to understand the words to love a song. I love Salif Keita's song "Africa " But I dont understand the words. It's a spiritual thing I guess
I'm half Xhosa like this lady here. I grew up in USA since I was a teen. Though I don't even know what they are saying I teared up watching this. How magnificent. I come from a tribe of beautiful people. ❤❤❤
The song it's about two lovers. That people are always trying to break their love, but now they just have to stop coming in between them because they're love is strong.
Mafikizolo deserves to be in the Music Hall of Fame in Africa or a lifetime achievement award. They stood the test of time. Groups have come and gone, they are still standing strong. Nhlanhla’s voice is still the signature voice for the group.

Eh Bathi abazingeni masixabene (They say they don't want to interfere when we're fighting/at odds) Kodwa masithandana bangena shi ( But when we're in love they meddle right in) Ake basixolele, basinike umoya (They should (FORGIVE US) leave us be, give us (AIR) breathing space.) **FORGIVE US is a direct translation for BASIXOLELE and AIR for UMOYA, Which if used as is kinda lose the message a bit.
This song brings tears to my eyes...somehow its representive of all that is good and beautiful of South Africa. As i sit thousands of miles away from this blessed and complicated land, i yearn for it and wish peace, prosperity and joy on all that call it home!!
It says people usually says they don't interfere with other people's relationships when things are fine between the two couples, but when things are going well they just interfere, so people should give them some space coz their can't be stopped by any 1
I am from Trinidad and Tobago and have traveled to South Africa (I want to live there one day). I follow Mafikizolo like they are family. I may not understand the words, but the love transpires through all their songs. Love you all.

So soulful!! And can we take a moment to appreciate the stunning colors and imagery in this video, the chemistry of the pair, and just how effortlessly beautiful this woman is... A breath of fresh air this entire song.
Ngeke balunge, ngeke basqede- They can never defeat us Ngoba ksobala lona uthando ngeke lwavalwa ngubala- Because it's obvious this love can never be ended by anyone Mabasyekele basiniki umoya- They should leave us alone and let us be Bazondiza ngemitshanelo abathakithi wogundo (not sure of the Zulu words) but it means- Witches can fly on their brooms and they will find us together, loving each other The most important parts are somewhere along those lines lol.
I just can't stop listening to this song. I don't even know what it means but I swear it's one of the best songs I can never get tired of listening. 🇰🇪 South Africans should be proud of this.
This song gave me great comfort at my mum's memorial in Kenya.Though I'm in the U.K I'm grateful and proud of our culture in Africa.Music is the language of love.
To other Kenyans in the house, thanks for representing. Our country might be shitty most times but in here we're one. Love ya! Definitely one of Mafikizolo's best songs. I love everything about this song: the hypnotic beats (especially that background guitar that creeps in as soon as they hit the chorus!), the vocals (especially when Theo hits those "impossible" high notes), the video...man, this will be on a perpetual state of repeat for the next few hours.
Whatever it is , it is working for them, maybe it b/c it just d 2 of them, sometimes when a gp is big it becomes difficult to wk together cos of personalities

I discovered this tune on Saturday the 9th May, (I am 3 months late to this beauty, damn!) But since then to now Wednesday the 13th, I have listened to it exactly 874 times on my player....approximately for 2 hours daily after I come from work, even as I cook my ugali for supper... Just dancing to it and wishing I had a soulful girlfriend especially in this bleak corona virus time so I might share with her the thrill and joy of love that is so profoundly expressed in this song.....If I ever get married I want this to be the song I dance to first as somebody's husband....hopefully that future wife loves soulful South African music as much as I do. From Kenya with love.

One thing about south Africans when it comes to music, they pour out their hearts, they sing with all their emotions and not for business only. Am Zambian but I love their music.
These guys only produce Gud music since the time I started listening to their songs

Still listening to this in 2023
The high notes are just..✨
Very nice song to just close your eyes and meditate to
how are my just seeing this song for the first time ooohh my its giving goosebumps without knowing what they are saying

I used to think they were a thing..
They say people will never come between their love.
I translated in a short version of the whole song content
Same i don't understand but i always vibe to their music
Eh Bathi abazingeni masixabene (They say they don't want to interfere when we're fighting/at odds)
Kodwa masithandana bangena shi ( But when we're in love they meddle right in)
Ake basixolele, basinike umoya (They should (FORGIVE US) leave us be, give us (AIR) breathing space.)
**FORGIVE US is a direct translation for BASIXOLELE and AIR for UMOYA, Which if used as is kinda lose the message a bit.
Nobody represents Africa better musically than you guys, Mafikizolo all the way
