PS2 format 4:3 on CRT TVs that support 16:9 Widescreen CRT format, if a PS2 classic game has a 16:9 aspect ratio will play PS2 on a Modern TV (LCD TV/LED TV/Smart TV) using a POUND HD Link or a White Component Cable Full Widescreen is better than the old TV, and the PS1 does not have a 16:9 aspect ratio format, because the PS1 is too old and when using HDMI to the PS1 see the format looks stretched on Modern TVs (LCD TV/LED TV/Smart TV), the original PS1 4:3 on Old TV (CRT TV)
What is the lubricant you used to restore the drive assembly? I cleaned up a Slim recently and the existing grease was completely caked with dust and grime but I don't know what to use to properly replace it.
PS2 slim was a good console with a ton of great games, I just wish it would have had a wireless controller. If there was one, I never knew it, or I would have used wireless. That's a dumb picture and name "ugly ps2", and they have two white slims stacked.
@@DiMarzio-Tone I have not seen them for awhile. The two wholesale sites I use for aftermarket controllers do not have them. I think used is the only way you can them now.
The white PS2 slim looks cool
I have always like the white ones the best.
my white slim unit is my favorite, because it plays more disc that my others did, like black & blue discs
When the laser is starting to get weak they will only play the clear discs.
Probably the lasers that plays DVDs are weak.
I actually think the white ones are the best looking
I do to. They look a lot cleaner.
@RetroGamingWithHopper I just picked one off ebay last night, same model and that's how I found this video lol
They are not ugly, just dirty. 🙂
They were pretty bad.

Thanks for the information.
The Slim smaller design seemed like a blessing , only little later we come to realize Sony made them total crap , ,🎃😞😞😞
So true.

I use a good dielectric grease.

There was a couple of aftermarket companies that put out wireless controllers for the PS2. Pelican was one of them.
@@RetroGamingWithHopper I wonder if they still make em for the ps2?.

@@RetroGamingWithHopper Yeah, makes sense, thanks man.
