When I worked in the offshore oil industry, a lot of the freelance guys used to base themselves around that area. Much quieter away from the madness of Patong. Lovely part of the island.

I'm enjoying a coffee and fruit granola bowl in Maybells Garden. Got to meet Richie!! Very friendly! Their garden is so relaxed and chilled. Such a pleasure on this beautiful Thailand day in the Land of Smiles! Highly recommended for anyone in Phuket!!

I was sitting opposite you watching you film at Nikita's. I was at Pimniyom Cafe a small local barista coffee shop doing excellent flat white. Glad I got to visit Maybelle's Coffee Garden twice and meet you both - I was staying at the Title and agree, Rawai is a great place to stay

Thank you for the videos of Rawai mainly as it brings back my 7 nights in the Palm Resort & Spar ... Try Bon by long-tail boat from Rawai Beach only around 15 mins boat ride ... when I visited in 2013 the Bon Island was just me it was such an amazing feeling being alone yet 15 minutes was many people on Phuket Island 😆 🤣 😂

Rawai brings back memories. First time i visited phuket, we moored up by the scuba school and little hotel. AO sane. Went in to town and stayed there for the night. next morning went back to find the 50ft vessel had snapped its chain and was laying on nai han beech lol. Fun times

I land on 7th of February and stay in Rawai for most of my holiday. I do have two day's in Kata so will come and meet you, and have a coffee.
You could literally have that 3 bedroom villa with the amazing garden as the coffee garden 🏡 and rent out a room to cover some costs .. obviously takes away your privacy but would be amazing 👍😁

Richie did you buy that plot of land or renting the land for the Cafe ? I used to live just up the road in Soi Kataburi about 6 years ago in Kata Oceanview Condo's, in my 4 years there, the area you are in was not very well established, so a lot has changed in that time. It's the best part of the Island in my opinion and I like Nai Harn, but Kata Beach is the best , holidayed for 25 years at The Boathouse, the best place on Kata Beach.

That vacant restaurant at Nai Harn would be a great investment! I'd jump on it if i was ready!
That's the oldest restaurant on Naiharn Beach, it was there in the late 1980s when I first came to phuket. It's called Coconuts. I doubt that it's for rent and if it is the rent will be very high.
15 years ago I used to have a restaurant and bungalow business on Rawai.
The area has certainly changed for the worse with over development but Naiharn Beach is still my most favourite beach on phuket.

Please, could I ask you a question? Generally, are those beautiful beaches in phuket, e.g. Patong beach, very close to the busy parts of the town, or are they far a part?
Patong beach is ver central to the town, in fact it runs along the beach road and then there are roads leading off the beach road. The most famous being Bangladeshi Road which is full of girlie bars. If you are looking for a more tranquil place to stay with beautiful beaches, then head for Kata, Bang Tao, or Kamala. There are also many more quite beaches further afield. Raw ai is not know particularly for it beautiful beach, but it is popular with foreigners, and well known for its seafood restaurants.
