Be careful not to be overly confident in your skills and the condition and cost of your project. Do the work your self saves piles of money and you learn lots. Watch out for rust and body work!! It can eat up your time and money more then anything and can still not look very good when you are done.
I'm from Spain, and I also bought my first car at 18, before having the license, since here you have to be at least 18 to get it. My project is a 93 Ford Probe v6, not very appreciated, but rare to find here in Europe. From today I start following you and encourage you to continue with the channel project.😜💪💪
I bout a project car at 15 here are my tips 1. KNOW HOW TO NEGOTIATE most people are upselling because they assume people will want to pay less 2. Don't buy a car that immediately needs painted make sure it looks decent 3. Make sure it runs and runs good 4. Most important look it over very good, then wait and then look it over very good a second time before you buy it. You will nor see all the problems the first time
it all depends on the individual but i would also say yes. if your passionate about something, pursue it. work two jobs, learn to budget, save, and wrench on your own stuff and have fun. Remember to educate yourself and further your career too because a project car you can park in your own garage at your own house is the real goal.
I’m 16 and bought a v8 soarer so same car about 7 months ago I work full time as an apprentice welder so all my 15.50 an hour go towards my car I definitely think it was worth it and I’ve learnt a lot fixing everything from knowing nothing about cars before and I’ve met a lot of mates with soarers to in the process of finding parts and everything else
Im currently 17 and recently bought my first project(an sc400) the car definitely needs some work done to it but im happy learning new things and expanding my knowledge on cars as well as excited for the memories ill create with this thing, awesome video 🫶
My 2nd car was an FD Rx7, this was back in 2003. I regret selling it to this day, although arguably i drive a much nicer car these days but still miss it... + it would be worth 4-5times what i wold it for back then!

That’s awesome!
If the “project car” isn’t needed as a daily and you have the space. The answer is yes 😎 age has nothing to do with it imo. Nice vid though!
Solid video quality man
