    The rearward most button on the overhead console is to be pushed if you leave a pet or ( older ) child in the car - as soon as you lock the car, the security system is activated - any movement inside would set it off if that button isn't pressed before you leave. Great, informative video, as usual !!!

    Great video. I ordered mine a few months ago in April. However, there are more than 3 options for the vehicle. You said that you wished that the door plates were illuminated...that's an option which I ordered with mine which also includes the rear cargo sill plate. I also ordered the Brembo 6-piston brake package, Super Cruise, trailering/camera package, trailer tire pressure and temperature sensors, illuminuated GMC outside mirrors, engine block heater, and blacked-out Denali nameplates. The price came to: $108,565.00 (plus dealer prep, extended 7-year 100,000 mile warranty, 5-year silicone/teflon paint coating, new license plates, taxes...etc.)...which brought the grand total to: $124,875.00 after taxes.

      @703Speed I will. As I mentioned, I put the order in, in April. I put it in at the GMC superstore here in wisconsin. I'm still waiting for it to get allocated to GMC for the build. I stopped at the dealer earlier this week on Wednesday. And they said that my vehicle was next in line to get allocated to GMC to get built. Once it gets allocated, it will usually take about ninety days before it gets delivered to the dealer. Now it's just a waiting game.

    I have a new 2023 Yukon Denali with power assist steps. I’ve had five Yukon Denali’s in the past with the same steps. They have all had automatic lights on the steps that come on when steps come out. The 2023 has the same lighting on the steps, but no one can figure out how to get them to light when open. I’ve had the Denali for five weeks, the steps have lighted one time for less than 10 seconds. The dealer can’t figure out how to get them to light, and neither GM Corp doesn’t know either. Your review was fantastic, and I hoped you might have a solution for me on getting the steps to light while open. Thank you for your review, it was spot on. Let me know any ideas about the steps lighting.

    *gm* has gone from some of the blandest interiors in the game to some of the best interiors your money can buy across the industry. Their attention to detail has wowed me lately! The welcome animations for both the exterior and interior are truly top tier. It’s nice to have large displays but the *software* that’s powering them is just as important as the housing. Bravo, GMC! 😎🔥

    Solid, thorough review. Better than most. This vehicle is a beaut! I just wish a few things. I wish I could get those same leather seats and such but in all black not that brown; I wish it came with Night Vision, at least as an option; and I wish I had the option of getting it with the thicker rubber 20" wheels of the AT4 instead of the 22"rs that come with it. An all blacked out exterior would be a nice option, or make all the chrome the darker Vader chrome, but with what Vader chrome is on the exterior there is enough that I might not do an after market chrome delete blackout job on the remaining shiny stuff. OR, maybe GM should come out with a Yukon AT4 Ultimate, the current AT4 with Escalade luxury on the interior.
    It's funny, but the Yukon AT4 and Denali each have something that the Escalades do not, though the Denali's is better than the AT4's. That's the sliding front center console, but more than anything about that is because if you slide it back, then you have a great, flat surface area resting an open laptop on the two padded leather rails on either side of the charging and cupholder bay. It can sit level there, open and stable, easily viewed by the driver or the passenger, it can be plugged in to the outlet, or run on batteries, turning this luxury full size suv into a very practical mobile work station or mobile home office. The AT4 rails to rest the laptop on still work for that but they are shorter. The Escalade does not have that at all.

    • @703Speed
      @703Speed  Год назад +1

      I had a feeling not everyone would like the brown - I agree there should be a black option. Also, I too think there should be more wheel options.. I mean there are literally like 10 (wheel) options for the SLT and regular Denali, and if you're paying so much for this vehicle, there should definitely be more than one wheel option..

    OK this is a great video. A few observations that I have would be first of all the Toyota Capstone Sequoia cannot touch this in any way, shape or form GMC has nothing to worry about. Secondly, and I bet many comments as well. Agree with me here sometimes less is more and I’m talking about the massaging seats. They should’ve just left the massaging function with that nice switch and you click it and it massages high or you click it again and it massages low and that’s it. That would’ve been great. You really don’t need to click it to bring up a sub menu for all types of customization that you don’t need

    For something classified as an "ultimate" edition, it's absurd that you don't get any choice on interior colors. Porsche has NO trouble putting out interior color choices on its cars. MINI also lets you get your seats in brown and gray. Screw the "supply" issues excuse GM. Youi just want to cheap out on labor. It looks bizarre in baseball leather and this costs over $100k. No wonder you needed a bailout.

    I have the 2023 Yukon Denali Ultimate and I can tell you DO NOT get the “Vader Chrome” it’s literally just a paint they put over the chrome and mine is already peeling off. Looks terrible now and they won’t fix it. I do love most things in this car but other SUVs in this class have heated and ventilated rear seats, this only has heated rear seats. The infotainment screen is also not very big and kinda low so you literally have to look down at it while taking your eyes off the road for far too long. Wosh it was higher and raised slighty above the dash like in other models. Also no sunglass holder in the roof and no pull up sun shades on the back doors. There could also be deeper storage in the cargo area. For the price tag and the label as “Ultimate” it is lacking ultimate features. It’s very comfortable and has a really nice ride especially on road trips but there are things I wish it had that it doesn’t.

      @@703Speed You'll get a lot of advice from people who can't afford these vehicles. The reason they can't afford these vehicles is because they don't make good "money"
      decisions. That's why they are poor. They wouldn't know a good investment if it drove over the top of them. They think that everyone should be their walking clone and drive the same vehicle that they want to drive. I'm not arrogant enough to think that everyone should spend their money...the way that I think they should spend their money.
