Having Ohtani and Freeman back to back in the lineup makes it easier for the other team to bring in a lefty reliever. A rally killer. Should be Betts-Freeman-Smith-Ohtani-Hernandez-Heyward ... to have right-left-right-left-right-left betters so the pitcher can't focus on one side for consecutive batters.
Definitely makes sense. Not surprised with Roberts though :(
This was like a Yankees-Dodgers game in the 60's with Koufax pitching
Back then, a "quality" start for Koufax was a complete game shutout. Those days are long gone!
Go Dodgers
I’ll admit when I seen grove I thought it was over, dude kept my money like bet in tact.. won’t talk shit on him anymore😂😂
I keep saying that Lux needs to kept off of the lineup, especially in big series like NY.
At least we're not getting swept!
They do in game interviews in cricket which is a pretty comparable sport FWIW
I said going in the Dodgers would take this series, and I'm sticking to that.
What matters is hitting with runners in scoring position and Ohtani is not getting the job done
