  • We were lucky enough to take a quick trip to Dwarsberg Trout Hideaway. We stayed in their new off-grid campsite. What a great spot!
    We will definitely be back

I’ve seen / heard that they don’t recommend taking a 4x4 trailer up there? Is this true? Or do they mean normal caravans? I have a bushwakka… I don’t see my FJ battling to pull it up there…. Your thoughts 💭? Thanks legend.

Hi Jonathan. You’ll be fine with the FJ and bushwakka. We camped there again in January and took up a Jurgens explorer and a conqueror comfort with no issues. Standard vans would struggle though.
