That crash was pretty brutal, straight into the roller. Glad you were okay from it. You're a joy to watch on the bike and this makes me want o get out and ride!
Yeah I was thought it was going to be really bad as soon as it started going wrong. I’m still hurting a bit from it but could have been a lot worse. Thanks! That’s always awesome to hear. It’s fun as long as you don’t do that, haha.
You still amaze me with your open, give it a try attitude and your smoothness. I remember watching my first trials comp and seeing you for the first time just playing around. I said to myself - so that’s how it’s supposed to look. Smooth and effortless. Hope to see you in TX again.
Thanks for watching! Not sure on any hard enduro yet. The trials season is very spread out and at the same time as hard enduro this year. I'm also dealing with a shoulder injury from an enduro crash 2 years ago so I haven't been riding it at all unfortunately. Hopefully I'll at least be able to get some riding in soon.
Nice! Thanks for posting. Fun to watch! - except maybe the crash? Looks like it hurt and could have been worse. One of my goals this month is to practice more going backwards. It’s amazing how far you go. Hannah used to not flinch when you crashed. You can see her concern as she starts toward you.
I was tempted not to put the crash in but figured it’s good to show when it goes wrong sometimes. I’m still hurting a little bit from it but could have easily been worse. Scared us both! Nice, fakies are fun! Finding a hill or bank can help get them rolling, doing a nose wheelie on one and letting go of the brakes before you land does to.
It’s pretty sad to see them this way. The bigger bummer is that there were more that were built for mtbs right by there, but they got flattened when the builders moved in.
@PatSmage very sad. I'm at least glad that most of those woods are legitimate trails. Not a bunch of housing like originally planned. What pump track is in the video?
Nice riding! How tall are you? I’m looking hard at this frame as a second bike for Michigan single track. Mostly rooty and rocky XC here. I’m 5’11” with a bit of a long torso. Wondering if a medium would be too small. The reach number on the large looks pretty long. Thanks!
Yep! I had plans to do more videos with it on the FactoryONE channel but things have not gone as planned. Hopefully I’ll be back to doing more this year but will see. Just need more practice time at the moment.
@@PatSmage I thought so. I was there Sunday riding with a couple people. I think you know them...lol. Hopefully go back this weekend. Stay safe! Ride on.
It was a crankbrothers stamp 7. It was a couple years old and started to creak but I was still very surprised it broke. Luckily it didn’t hurt since that kind of thing scares me.
Nice. The manuals on those steep rollers at the pump track were very impressive.
Thanks! That took full focus as displayed by my mistake when I wasn’t!
I just ordered one of these yesterday. Even though I won’t have your level of finesse with it, I can dream and practice. Beautiful riding style
Nice, enjoy it! It’s a fun bike. Thanks!

Liking the mountain bike videos!👍
Good to hear! They have been fun to make. Well, besides that slam on concrete at least!
Not only enjoyed the video I loved it 🎉
Absolutely nuts as always 😂
Looking forward to maybe seeing you do some hard enduro races in 24’?
🤟

impressive to see the LG jumps are good enough to ride still. they have been abandoned for a bit.
Super smooth riding, but you already know that!
I'd like to be able to manual like that, going to have to keep up the practice though!!!
Found those jumps this year. I bet it was awesome in its heyday. I grew up in those woods.

@@andyk3643 Yeah it could have been worse I suppose. The pumptrack is in Cottage Grove. That's the closest one I know of.
Hallo Pat.
Super Video wie immer 💪.
Für deine trails, fetback oder Ibis Dv9?
Was ist besser?
Gruß
Michael
Foot plant was RAD!
When are we going to see the new Sherco trials review?
Not sure, I haven't heard when they are getting here.

I am 6' tall on a Large. I typically like slightly smaller bikes but doesn't feel crazy long to me. I would guess a Large would work well for you too.
Very inspiring. Do you still have your Sherco SER300? Would definitely like to see more of that

Super sick…
Cool video Pat. Where was the dirt jump on thie first part of the video filmed at? Looks like a fun spot.
Thanks! It’s between the canopy trails and the power line. Used to be a lot more before the builders moved in. Sad to see!

geez what kinda pedal was that!?@?

7:46 is NOT IT.
Agreed. I do not recommend.
