I became a chef because of his writing. Rip you legend.
Pasquale Calvi #metoo
Pasquale Calvi which sentence impress u deeply, can u share me
Laverne Johnson you are not even the slightest bit funny. You have no respect for the living and no respect for the dead. How about you get to know people before leaning too far out of the window?
Gold Digger Wright small 3 star in Germany.
Pasquale Calvi I am so sad about this
Anthony Bourdain is huge inspiration on so many including myself. He helped us see that there is a much bigger world than just our backyard. He will be greatly missed, but his influence will live on forever in those who continue to explore what it means to be human.
Well said! ❤️
Robbie Backpacking he was a pompous azz
It truly hurts to have someone who spoke for us take his own life. That morning we took my son to the airport RUclips first notified about something concerning Mr Bourdain... I googled the news and was in complete shock. the news left me in tears. Anthony has left a huge hole in our hearts. HE WILL BE MISSED.
See...Anthony Bourdain’s Haunting Tweet Weeks Before His Suicide About What Hillary Clinton Goons Did To him in relation to questioning Kate Spade suicide.
I'm still having a really hard time accepting that he's gone. It's devastating.
callme mrtank
oh wow you such a low life...
The alt-right hated Anthony because he promoted diversity.
Having had lunch with Obama and knowing that Anthony was not a Trump voter was enough of a reason, I doubt they know much more about him - Trumpers & the alt-right are like hungry zombies once triggered and feel justified to create any lie and smear anyone as those 3 uber-morons did in this thread.
I am so devastated, my years studying in the U.S, Tony and his calm voice made my life in the U.S find peace in my soul.
Please America. Be nice with each other, stop this bs pressure to one another.
floxpsm well said.
Anthony Bourdain and Michael Jackson was murdered by the Illuminati. Both of them are very talented, professional and humanity.
They're Truely One of A Kind. They will be missed.
R.I.P
So heartbroken. He shot a No Reservations episode in my home country and he treated the food, the people, and most importantly the culture with sincere respect. It was and still is my cure for homesickness. I can’t get over this. What an icon. Thank you chef Bourdain. x
Hi, where are you from?
I would visit. X
My early teen years I grew up watching this wonderful man and all his amazing adventures. I will never forget when he went to Saudi Arabia and couldn't drink it was so funny. I will always carry a part of you in my heart I will truly miss such a gorgeous soul.
Such a great mind, narrator, and wonderful ambassador of American humility and humanity to the world at large. He is modern day John Lennon of the culinary world. RIP
His shows were like National Geographic with food. I will really miss him.
He has truly gone to 'PARTS UNKNOWN'...RIP
Absolutely agreed that he had the best job in the world. He was also the right person for that job, I think.
I think he’s one if the reasons why I wanna be a journalist. He really had a way with words and he was always honest. His constant unapologetic way is a trait that a wish I had and I think because he was never anything other than himself, it was a real shock when he died. Not even his friends saw it coming
Rest in peace, Mister Tony. Gonna miss the man that taught us to open our eyes, enjoy one another, and share some good food.
"Laverne" 4chan is that way ------>. ;)
Makes me cry. He was one of a kind.
R.I.P chef 🙏 love from India 💐
a side road Eatery with plastic tables and chairs, a large pot of boiling water, next to it a stack high of Rice Noodles and a few fresh Meat and vegetables and a bottle of beer in Hanoi, this how Tony liked it. I miss you already Anthony, you're the champ of Cultural ambassadors.

Unforgettable, irreplaceable and always missed. May Anthony Rest In Peace ✌️
Thank you for your kindness, advocacy, and generosity. You have been an inspiration to countless . You are missed, Anthony.
My father passed away a few months ago. He was a huge Anthony Bourdain fan. You could catch him watching his documentaries at any time of day, and we sometimes bonded by watching him. I hope my dad gets to meet him some day.
Good job, i think you captured tony pretty well. His best wasnt so much the food coverage but how the food shared & enjoyed was our special 'in' to the cultures, tony got that timeless mixing of cultures & foods helped to make many places what they are. He will be sorely missed by MANY worldwide friends & fans! Good night to a one of a kind guy RIP
RIP to someone that the earth actually needed to grace it with his presence.
I hope to be 1/2 the man Anthony was.
Really sad. What a loss. Rest in peace Anthony.
He showed us the world and how similar we all are no matter what race, religion, or continent.
In an increasingly isolationist world, we need him now more than ever
I still miss him!
You will be truly missed rip brother
i opened and cook at my very own restaurant now partly because i got to know him when i was still young, most of his shows gave me insights and knowledge to a lot of things, he's at the top of all the people who gave me inspirations.. wherever you are now Chef, your legacy remains...
*He will be missed. I raise a cup of wine today to you, Anthony! Safe and wonderful journey!*
Raise a spoon full of smack is more appropriate for this Bourdain coward.
RIP hope you found what you were looking for
Just can't believe he is gone. Will love and miss him forever.
He will be missed!
Claudia Marie Bermudez not by the whites who he advocated against
cant get over it... this guy is one of the reasons why i started to travel the world after quitting my career in the hotel industry... I´m so deeply sad.
Thank you Sir. My brother and I grew up watching your show and enjoyed them very much. We owed much of what we understand about food and people to you. Thank you for the memories.
I am so so terribly sad
Me too, this one really hurts.
Nobody cares
Anonymous User You do! Lol. So much so that you comment under a video about him.
RIP....🙏
Farewell my friend.
LOL
his shows are so good and unique which i dont think anybody can replace him anymore. there wont be any series as good as his. so sad for the loss. my all time favorite person. my idol. may u rest in peace.
I read all of his books. He brought me into his world, and made me comfortable with the unknown. I traveled to places I would not have otherwise, after gaining the confidence from following some of the things he spoke about. I have the confidence to eat things that turned out ultimately to be absolutely delicious, that I would not have thought about otherwise, had I not had his encouragement. Thank you Anthony, for the enlightenment you have brought to a lot of us. You will be sorely missed. Rest in peace my friend.
Great little piece. Many thanks. From dust to fire -- farewell, AB.
Him sitting at that tiny little table in Vietnam and eating that little bowl, the contents of which he wasn’t even sure about, is my favourite image of him. I’m going to go there one day, Anthony. I promise you. RIP you talented, complex, wonderful man. Thank you
He WAS the genuine article. He left us but left us with his greatness that was given in a simplistic manner--food amongst people all over the corners of the world. SIGH he was beautiful.
He seemed to love life and embrace humanity. In that respect, he reminds me of my sister who chose suicide. I will respect and never understand.
Thank you for everything Anthony! You were an amazing individual that really inspired me to be a better person. I never met you but from watching every one of your shows I feel like I knew you, you will be missed. R.I.P. 🙏 📿
RIP, thank you for showing me the subtle beauty of food around the world!
Mis condolencias a su familia y a CNN desde España. Descanse en paz. RIP
I learned more about the world from this guys shows then I ever did in school, will miss him.
God I loved you. I always said “when I come back, I want to be Anthony Bourdain”. You were incredible
What a soul.
A true inspiration! Rest in amazing peace your presence & knowledge Of food will be missed.
Remember no one is alone some ones always here to talk to.
Every once in a while ill think of him I grew up watching him on TV 😰❤
Been following his career from back in the day, I'm stunned he will not be around and show use how to adventure I for one will miss him so much RIP Tony X
Great man
How could anybody put a thumbs down on this?
He was my idol, probably the only famous person I truly looked up to and admired. He was intelligent, humorous, entertaining, elegant, ironically very classy, raw, one of a kind icon. I wish I met him I was crying all day when I heard, the thought of losing him still saddens me. I wonder if he knew how much he'd be missed 😔 R.I.P. Anthony
RIP, great human and honest personality!
Thank you Anthony Bordain for being so real you will be missed God keep you may you rest in peace
You will be greatly missed. You were an inspiration and an eloquent leader to us. RIP.

Great teacher... will miss him
I still can’t believe that such a beautiful soul is gone... God bless his family
That was a wonderful article Thank you New York Times.
He was a great writer ❤️ this video does him so much justice thank you 👏🏻👏🏻
I loved him when explained sub prime mortgages in the kitchen in The Big Short!
The truth is we don't know the truth about why Anthony took this action to end his life. Whatever the reason, I don't think he was necessarily mentally ill, or whacked out on drugs or alcohol. My instinct is that this man who loved life was somehow driven to do this. My hope is that he is now in a good place, and that whatever his reasoning was that it will not be in vain. My feeling is that this was not a selfish act. Again, we don't know, and perhaps never will, so let's just pray that he rests in safety and peace.
i thank you for the shows and inspiration you gave us
So thankful that you have left lots of shows for us to remember you but the fact you won't be making anymore is a real loss to all your fans. You will be missed dearly!
It's kind of eerie, but watching his show now, he says very prophetic things regarding dying. 😯😢
Tony, you'll be missed by so many! You were truly one of a kind! RIP! ❤
Rest in peace brother. You will always be loved and remembered dearly. Nothing but tears tonight, for you were the truth amongst the hordes of lies.
I still get teary eyed thinking about him. Hope he's found peace.
Who is he im confused
he always be a huge inspiration on so many including myself.Buen viaje, deseo encuentres lo que buscas. Siempre seras una gran inspiracion para muchos y me incluyo.
He Will Always Be an inspiration and idol.
He will be greatly missed :-(
Wow. No mention of hiss passionate support of the Palestinians for the cause of freedom? His support for them took a very big place in his beautiful heart... Rest In Peace Anthony, you will be missed. Shame on you NYT
Lord Neptune Palestinians? Haha! Nobody cares!
What a lie on the expense of a tragedy. Shame on you.
If we try to include all the ways Bourdain was great... We would be here all day and night... This is just a brief summary... Maybe you can write an essay appreciating his greatness
Can't anger the Jews
Amir Sela Lie?
I enjoyed this video, but I'm shocked that the New York Times didn't have more to say. Anthony has always been a die-hard New Yorker
A beautiful man
Love you
Greatest chef there is.
Anthony will be missed but he left so much to remember him. Let's watch his TV shows and do that.

I hope he found is peace he will be miss we won't see any one like Antony any time son.
A famous person once told me "At that time in my life, I had no personal defenses. I felt like everybody was watching me. I felt like I had absolutely no secrets from the world and I couldn't pretend in my life to be strong."
Anthony Bourdain was an amazing chef that truly showed the world to everyone who watched his show. I will still attribute the reason I don’t eat steak well done to Mr. Bourdain. He is still sorely missed.
What a great guy great guy.
Great video, thanks for making this.
❤ No words.
lovable. RIP
He is no rebel in the kitchen, he embodies the industrial kitchen and f and b in general.
Visually there but grounded him in many different ways
RIP AB🤧
I still refuse to believe that a man who spoke about life and the way lived and loved it, would take his own. I’m angry and I want him back so much he was just starting to give his best. He is missed!😞
R I P
I'm Abdo from Morocco welcome
OMG ....At 2.25 The legend walking on street like boss ... RIP brother
Too sad to watch right now
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
MonasticSolace Anything else to say? Seriously? You're like that moron who does nothing but you four letter words. Or in your case abbreviations. Are you limited in that vocabulary of what?
This hurt, almost as hard as Robin Williams! RIP Tony!
Obama and Bourdain both are #1!
Laverne Johnson hopefully somebody serves trump the meal that Bourdain wanted to
Rest in peace, Anthony You will always be missed in this crazy world of ours!!!
