Ideology is not even froth. Bread and bullets are real substance.
Ideology is what allows Foucault, once his stomach is full of bread and he is safe from bullets, to dream up such folly as trans-males and cis-males, which arises from bullshit like: "There are no cats in this room because there are no cats anywhere, since only non-cats and non-non-cats exist, so one can only posit that there are no non-non-cats in this room, and that the barking sound in the room is coming from a non-cat".
Bread doesn't exist for Foucault because Foucault takes bread so for granted that bread just vanishes from Foucault's mind, until of course a sufficient number of days without bread causes Foucault's stomach to overrule Foucault's mind, and Foucault eventually seeks to obtain bread with bullets. Thus is Foucault's ideology not even froth.
