Spent quite a few nights over the years in the seat of walking dragline , can't tell you what it's like so much power at your fingertips , i can't say much for the music in this video.
They are an awesome machine.... if you keep the mainteance up to them & get some support from P&H lol ....would love to see the model mate...Cheers LOZ
@@lozarok hey thanks for that. I'm looking into buying a small Dragline and have an interest in vintage equipment. The closest I came to getting to see how things work was Open day event at Norwich Park some years back 2006 I think it was. I remember one of the Blokes from Goonyella had built a Remote controlled Dragline that he used to take to the show or Ag when we were kids in Coppabella in the 1980's. Great video and info. Agreed. I'd rather hear the sounds of these great draglines and power shovels working than whatever is being played.

My grandpa worked for P&H for a long time, and I never believed that the 9020 walked no matter how many times he told me 😅 I believe him now

I work on the only 9020 in Canada and it was build the same time as this one in 98. Everything looks the same except for the tub.

To operate a machine of that size? No its not rocket science but i'm sure you couldn't do it correctly.
