Not that at all. Someone leaked the game's code a year or so ago back in Season 3. With the source code, people can make any mods to the game they want offline. In this case, they changed where the camera is to be first person perspective instead. That's why it looks a bit janky. Since the game code from Season 3 is the only one leaked, no finishers are available for characters that came out after that.
Ok, I would love to see two options to chose from during finishers: 1st. From a specific angle there where they look like for both sides 2nd. POV for both when you preform a finisher or get it preformed on you... Tho, the second one would need some extra work done on face rigs, because you can tell that Respawn didn't made those in some finishers because the camera angle didn't include those on some.

Glad I'm not the only one. I think they should be first person for the person saying so there would be more of point to getting them, as they look identical for both people. At the point where the character dies in the finisher, it goes black and puts the recap on screen.

Should be like this anyway, as during the finisher you can still stay engaged in the fight and see what's going on in the background. The angle from the other perspective tends to be more upwards and into the sky
