Adding another comment after finishing the video. BTS actually are huge anime fans although they didn't really mention it in this. There was a time when they watched Attack on Titan together every Friday and even have a song called Attack on Bangtan. Suga especially loves Slam Dunk and has dressed as Naruto for Halloween too once. As V mentioned he loves Ghibli movies. Jimin loves One Piece and took up kendo as a kid cuz of Zoro. JHope is probably the only one who doesn't really care about anime but puts up with it for their sake 😂

Well done guys, you nailed the names 💜😂 In Korean, it is usual to say your name with your surname first, like Rm said Kim Namjoon (Kim is his surname), but Jungkook took a while to answer because he reversed his name like we do in the west, and he said Jungkook Jeon, JHope did the same and said Hoseok Jung, and Jimin also did the same and said Jimin Park - but then Suga went back to the Korean way and did Min Yoongi (Yoongi is his first name…) 🙈😂😂 Their ages: Jin 1992, Suga 1993, JHope and Rm 1994, Jimin and Tae (V) 1995 and Jungkook 1997 (but Jin is December 1992, he will be 29 in a few days time, and Suga is March 1993 so he is only like three months younger than Jin). I absolutely love your reactions! It’s so “ddaeng” legit😂 Jin is the oldest (Dec ‘92); Suga is second (Mar ‘93); J-Hope (aka Hobi Feb ‘94); RM (Sept ‘94); Jimin (Oct ‘95); V (Dec ‘95); Jungkook (aka JK Sept ‘97). They all read/watch anime but it’s Korean so you might not know them. Korea produces a lot and it comes out as “webtoons”, also known as digital anime and some are made into popular Korean dramas (K-dramas), like Itaewon Class. You should check out this drama (it’s on Netflix) as the main actor is Park Seo-Joon (BFF with V) who will also be in the next Captain Marvel movie.
they do buy their own clothes, rm was just kidding when he said "we barely do, except for louis vuitton" because he wanted to throw in the brand name as they're louis vuitton global brand ambassadors, bts do that a lot in interviews actually hahah - throw in all the brand names they sponsor jokingly, it's their way of promotion and it's hilarious.
I'm glad that you're getting into some of the interviews. It's nice to see their dynamics. Though, personally, I think a lot of the English ones can be a bit awkward, especially the older ones, because the rest of the members weren't quite as fluent as they are now. So they let RM do a lot of the talking, but when they did speak it tended to come out a bit funny to the ears of an English speaker. If you get into some of the compilation videos of "BTS vs English" or the ones with RM being done with the groups English, a lot of the clips are from those English interviews where they tried their hardest, but the words just didn't come out quite right. Also be aware with those compilation videos, that a lot of the time, the person editing it actually leaves out the question that was asked, so it can seem kind of random. I really wish they kept more of the context, but I understand they can't put everything in. I honestly think, for me, that a lot of the actual full interview clips are funnier, because you get to hear the question as well and not just the answer out of context. But they are nice for getting a basic spread of fun BTS answers. It's very entertaining when they get sassy in their answers, because let's face it, a lot of English interviews, mostly early ones, asked a lot of...umm...dumb questions. Or repeated question they had answered a million times before and were just done answering seriously. In my opinion, anyway. But welcome to the world of American Interviewers. But anyway, if you do the compilation videos, I also recommend going back and watching the full interviews as well. They are very fun. And you get other good information about them as well. Not just the funny answers, but the serious answers too. A couple other random things that came up: -V joined before Jimin, he was just kept a secret, so everyone thought it was a six member group. But V was already there when Jimin joined. -You're right that they say the surname first in Korea, RM and V said theirs that way (Kim Namjoon and Kim Taehyung) and then JK's pause was him switching the names to say it the way Americans would (as Jungkook Jeon instead of Jeon Jungkook, though the pause made it look like he forgot his name for a moment, hehe), then J-Hope and Jimin followed suit with Hoseok Jung and Jimin Park, but Suga switched back to the Korean way with Min Yoongi and Jin just funnily said JWAN (for some reason the members like to tease him and call him Jan instead of Jin lately, so he was playing off of that. I actually have yet to figure out why they do that. Yes these videos shows their personalities...they have unique personalities but they blend well together...You guys noticed Jimin being quiet but he's one of the loudest and naughtiest in the group😅, About the looks...we all know they all good looking but they refer to Jin as the most handsome because he is said to perfectly fit the Korean beauty standards, most Koreans also think he is the most handsome member but all of them are very handsome in their own ways..Korean standards sometimes sucks as some of the members are said to not fit Korean beauty standards where as internationally we see them as handsome...yes we loved the content, looking forward to more💜💜

Rm is mainly the song writer in the group (although everyone has written many group songs, solo songs), and Suga is the member who produces (RM also produces many, but he didn’t want the answer to be long).
So ahat you guys said about jin and rm (Namjin) yes they are close but i mean the litterly are all so close, like every pair is jusy so cute together. But I think overall th maknae line (Jimi , V , Jk) are really close since in their younger years they had a lot of fun together like being mischievous and stuff, and even now they hang out a lot. Then suga and jhope (sope) is seen as a married couple and namjin is alse seen as the parents together in bts with great chemistry
idk if you knew this, but J-Hope (Hobi) is the dance LEADER of BTS, as RM says he does half of Namjoons job since hobi actually leads in terms of performances and teaching choreos and stuff. Also the main dancers are : Hobi, Jimin and JK.

The only one that can't eat a lot of spicy food is V. Jin owns a Japanese restaurant in Korea with his brother, JK, and Suga and Jin are great cooks. Jin and Jimin do a cooking show occasionally. J-hope cooks, but V and RM - NOT! V always begs JK or Jin to cook for him. RM - well... he's the leader and they will cook for him because he just doesn't know how.
The members have several names, stage names, names given by ARMY, nicknames and ofcourse their original names. I'll write it down for each member so that you don't get confused.
Kim Namjoon: His stage name is RM. He is also called Joon, Joonie or Namu sometimes. Rapmonster was his old name but he changed it in 2017. JK still calls him Rapmon hyung though 😂😂.
Kim Seokjin: His stage name is Jin. He is also called World Wide Handsome, he gave this name to himself 😂.
Min Yoongi: His stage name is Suga. He goes by the name Agust D for his solo music. He is also known as Lil meow meow (Bcos he's like a cat)🥺 .
Jung Hoseok: His stage name is Jhope. He is also known as Hobi and ARMY's sun/sunshine.
Park Jimin: His stage name is Jimin. He is also affectionately called mochi and chim chim.
Kim Taehyung: His stage name is V. He is also known as Taetae.

In Korean, it is usual to say your name with your surname first, like Rm said Kim Namjoon (Kim is his surname), but Jungkook took a while to answer because he reversed his name like we do in the west, and he said Jungkook Jeon, JHope did the same and said Hoseok Jung, and Jimin also did the same and said Jimin Park - but then Suga went back to the Korean way and did Min Yoongi (Yoongi is his first name…) 🙈😂😂
Their ages: Jin 1992, Suga 1993, JHope and Rm 1994, Jimin and Tae (V) 1995 and Jungkook 1997 (but Jin is December 1992, he will be 29 in a few days time, and Suga is March 1993 so he is only like three months younger than Jin). BTS has two birthdays coming up, Jin on the 4th and Tae on the 30th December..

If you want to get to know the boys personalities better, you should watch their reality shows: Run BTS, Bon Voyage, and In the Soop. They are relaxed, playful, and very funny. If I'm feeling down and tired, I watch their shows and they make me laugh and give me energy. I love them so much!

I notice that too when I watch bts, 10:55 your friend is very observant! Rm and jin seem to be very good friends, they have similar senses of humors, they always tend to sit together during these kinds of interviews and RM once said that He likes being by Jin because he feels emotional support from him while overseas.

Jin is the oldest (Dec ‘92); Suga is second (Mar ‘93); J-Hope (aka Hobi Feb ‘94); RM (Sept ‘94); Jimin (Oct ‘95); V (Dec ‘95); Jungkook (aka JK Sept ‘97).
They all read/watch anime but it’s Korean so you might not know them. Korea produces a lot and it comes out as “webtoons”, also known as digital anime and some are made into popular Korean dramas (K-dramas), like Itaewon Class. You should check out this drama (it’s on Netflix) as the main actor is Park Seo-Joon (BFF with V) who will also be in the next Captain Marvel movie.
What makes them so genuine is the fact that they never received official training for interviews like so many others.
they do buy their own clothes, rm was just kidding when he said "we barely do, except for louis vuitton" because he wanted to throw in the brand name as they're louis vuitton global brand ambassadors, bts do that a lot in interviews actually hahah - throw in all the brand names they sponsor jokingly, it's their way of promotion and it's hilarious.
I'm glad that you're getting into some of the interviews. It's nice to see their dynamics. Though, personally, I think a lot of the English ones can be a bit awkward, especially the older ones, because the rest of the members weren't quite as fluent as they are now. So they let RM do a lot of the talking, but when they did speak it tended to come out a bit funny to the ears of an English speaker. If you get into some of the compilation videos of "BTS vs English" or the ones with RM being done with the groups English, a lot of the clips are from those English interviews where they tried their hardest, but the words just didn't come out quite right. Also be aware with those compilation videos, that a lot of the time, the person editing it actually leaves out the question that was asked, so it can seem kind of random. I really wish they kept more of the context, but I understand they can't put everything in. I honestly think, for me, that a lot of the actual full interview clips are funnier, because you get to hear the question as well and not just the answer out of context. But they are nice for getting a basic spread of fun BTS answers.
It's very entertaining when they get sassy in their answers, because let's face it, a lot of English interviews, mostly early ones, asked a lot of...umm...dumb questions. Or repeated question they had answered a million times before and were just done answering seriously. In my opinion, anyway. But welcome to the world of American Interviewers.
But anyway, if you do the compilation videos, I also recommend going back and watching the full interviews as well. They are very fun. And you get other good information about them as well. Not just the funny answers, but the serious answers too.
A couple other random things that came up:
-V joined before Jimin, he was just kept a secret, so everyone thought it was a six member group. But V was already there when Jimin joined.
-You're right that they say the surname first in Korea, RM and V said theirs that way (Kim Namjoon and Kim Taehyung) and then JK's pause was him switching the names to say it the way Americans would (as Jungkook Jeon instead of Jeon Jungkook, though the pause made it look like he forgot his name for a moment, hehe), then J-Hope and Jimin followed suit with Hoseok Jung and Jimin Park, but Suga switched back to the Korean way with Min Yoongi and Jin just funnily said JWAN (for some reason the members like to tease him and call him Jan instead of Jin lately, so he was playing off of that. I actually have yet to figure out why they do that. Maybe someone else knows.)
-Just a few random nicknames you'll probably hear at some point:
Kim Namjoon - RM, Rap Monster (his original stage name in the group, but changed it to just RM), RapMon, Joonie, Monie
Kim Seokjin - Jin, Jinnie, Jan, Worldwide Handsome

Yes these videos shows their personalities...they have unique personalities but they blend well together...You guys noticed Jimin being quiet but he's one of the loudest and naughtiest in the group😅, About the looks...we all know they all good looking but they refer to Jin as the most handsome because he is said to perfectly fit the Korean beauty standards, most Koreans also think he is the most handsome member but all of them are very handsome in their own ways..Korean standards sometimes sucks as some of the members are said to not fit Korean beauty standards where as internationally we see them as handsome...yes we loved the content, looking forward to more💜💜

So ahat you guys said about jin and rm (Namjin) yes they are close but i mean the litterly are all so close, like every pair is jusy so cute together. But I think overall th maknae line (Jimi , V , Jk) are really close since in their younger years they had a lot of fun together like being mischievous and stuff, and even now they hang out a lot. Then suga and jhope (sope) is seen as a married couple and namjin is alse seen as the parents together in bts with great chemistry

idk if you knew this, but J-Hope (Hobi) is the dance LEADER of BTS, as RM says he does half of Namjoons job since hobi actually leads in terms of performances and teaching choreos and stuff. Also the main dancers are : Hobi, Jimin and JK.

But its fun to get to learn each ones personalities and watch them have fun in interviews or during their other shows. Plus watching other documentaries to see how they came together and all they had to go through to be the number one group in the the world is important ,although it seems they hit it big over night it was not the case . There is lots of content out there a few videos I like are, Jungkook the main vocalist of bts, bts being done with vimin mainly namjoon ( this shows the relationship between V and jimin and how close they are plus its funny) those are just a few but like I said there is so many out there , its a good thing you have someone helping you.
