Merry Christmas John. Your ability to explain a very intricate and difficult subject is amazing, as a disabled student, I love how you break it down and then explain it, then reinforce the same, before mulling over it, in more details. Wishing you good health.
And a happy new year to you as well Kahnz
Dr. Campbell, thank you for all your helpful informative videos! However, I noticed in regards to the Question at the 22 minute part: "Which valve prevents reflux from the aorta back into the left ventricle?" The answer should be: Aortic Valve, but in your slide it is written Pulmonary Arterial Valve.
Carl L ....Good is the Aortic Semi-Lunar Valve....Cheers
Carl L exactly I’m also thinking 🤔 aortic is the answer
Thank You Dr. J. Campbell
The slides helps understand a lot. I didn't know the Frank-Starling Law of the heart. Thank you so much!
After just commenting on a very recent post saying I can’t wait till your talks a on different topic. Then saying I guess i could look back a few years & find a different topic. Bingo up on top of your feed old heart related talks.
Your explanations are life saving ❤️
Thanks alot for amazing teaching 🙏🏻
Dr. John Campbell , ls it possible to teach us about head and neck ? Vessels and nerves and extra.
Thank you Dr.
Thanks, great teaching. Better understanding too.😀
Hi John,
I had a mitral valve repair in January 2020.
Could you explain how the repair is carried out please?
After nearly 3 years I still don't know how the surgeon carried out the procedure. I didn't have open heart surgery so even now I am amazed at what was done.
PS My sincere thanks go to all at St. Thomas' Hospital in London and our wonderfull NHS
Thanks .student from somalia
Thanks again sir for teaching us
Thank you much, Sir
I have pulmonary stenosis and have found out I have severe tricuspid regurgitation and dialated right ventricle right atrium and dialated left atrium I wish I could find a video with drawings like yours to show me what is happening to my heart.
There are two mistakes in last tow questions .
The answer of one it's aortic semilunar valve that's prevent reflux from left ventricle to aorta.
The second it's pulmonary semilunar valve that's prevent reflux or back flow of blood from right ventricle to pulmonary trunk
Thank you so much Dr. Desmond for these tutorial, I have learned a lot about the functions of the heart and blood circulation as a whole. I am Smanga Dominion Kay from South Africa. I have a Christian you tube channel called HOPE CHAIN. Your information helps me a lot since sometimes in my SERMONS I like to incorporate the human anatomy and physiology analogies.
አመስግናለሁ ......
I learn a lot thank you.
Thank you sir
Dear Sir, Q14, the valve that prevents reflux from the aorta back into the left ventricle is the atrioventricular valve or semi lunar valve but on diagram you have written 'pulmonary'. What is happening here please?
thanks ...
It is best ,Thank You
Thanks sir
Thank you
Thank you sir
Its more helpfull
I adore this account
Excellent!
Thanks a lot
I think that you got #14 wrong. Shouldn’t it be the aortic semi-lunar valve that prevent back flow from the left ventricle to the aorta? The pulmonary semi-lunar valve separate the right ventricle and the pulmonary trunk.
Pulmonary vein
Thanks a tol sir . For helping
Thank you so much Dr. But the link to buy your book isn't working ?
